The C Rank Mission

As the band of Team 7 and Tazuna went on their way towards the Hidden Village of the Mist. The H/C haired teen was quiet throughout the trip, having to keep an eye out for trouble. This didn't go unnoticed by Kakashi as he went over to Y/N.

Kakashi: Hey. Got something on your mind?

Y/N: Yeah, I know that this simple mission isn't going to be smooth sailing from here.

Kakashi: So, you've noticed?

Y/N: Kakashi, I may be a Genin, but my senses is in par with the past Hokages.

Kakashi: Yeesh, don't rub it in alright. But, it seems that I can feel it too. Just be ready for anything.

And with that, their conversation was over, continuing their path as the other four were minding their own business, seemingly not worrying what lies ahead.

Sakura: So, what did you and Kakashi-sensei talked about?

The pinkette asked as Y/N only looked forward, not wanting to lose sight of his focus as he just briefly talked.

Y/N: I was talking about how did we get this mission like easily from the Hokage.

Sakura: Well, you know Naruto, he can be thick headed when it comes to...

She rambled on and on while walking beside Y/N, turns out, Y/N wasn't listening to her, her voice slowly became an echo once he saw puddles on the ground, making a big deal out of the situation.

Y/N: 'Funny, it felt that it hadn't rain here for a couple of days. They should be dried up by now.'

His thoughts were racing, trying to process what was happening as they passed the puddle. Little did they know, a head emerged at the puddle, looking at their target as another one popped out. Without taking anymore chances, they swooped into action as chains started to fly out, binding Kakashi as the rest of Team 7 had been spread out.

Kakashi: What!

???: First one!

The figure said as they quickly get Kakashi, ripping him to shreds as Kakashi took the first fall.

Naruto: Sensei!

Y/N: 'I knew something was wrong!'

He thought as he was with Sakura and Tazuna, his hands was on his back, holding on the hilt of his dagger as he was focus on putting everything on the line, killing was an option, but he doesn't want to resort on it.

???: Second one!

The figure said as their attention was now on Naruto, having their second target as they were inches closer towards the blond, both Sasuke and Y/N spring into action. Sasuke grabbed a kunai and a shuriken as he throws it towards the chain, hitting it dead on as it was now stuck on a tree, following a throw of his kunai and it landed perfectly on the center.

Y/N was now behind of Naruto's position, leaving a streak of lightning from where Sakura and Tazuna was standing, holding his dagger in front of the fist of the attackers, as his glare wasn't leaving anytime soon.

Sasuke placed his feet down on the back of the attackers as Y/N was staring them down, getting ready to attack.

Sasuke: 'How did he get there so fast?'

Naruto: 'Where did he come from?'

Sakura: 'What just happened?'

These were the thoughts that they were asking themselves, Y/N on the other hand was different.

???: 'Kill them. I know you want to.'

A voice in his head started to echo inside him, he was sweating like crazy as he hold his ground.

???: 'What's wrong? A little blood won't hurt.'

The voice said as Y/N wasn't going out for the kill, his thoughts were broken as Sasuke grab hold of the attackers, kicking them both on their face as the chains started to break away from them.

Once done, the two broke into a sprint, breaking away as one went in front of Naruto and the other was heading straight for Sakura and Tazuna.

Y/N: Not on my watch!

He yelled as the H/C haired teen pulled Naruto on his collar towards him, putting his dagger away on his back as he jumped up,  raising his knee, and hitting the attacker square on his chin as Naruto was surprised at what his friend did.

Y/N grunted at the impact of his knee as the body slowly falls down on the ground, as he firmly planted his foot and looked at where Sakura and Tazuna as he saw Sasuke and Kakashi with one of their attackers.

The surprised face of his teammates were priceless, although, he had managed to reveal a slight portion of his strength as he took a small breather, looking at Tazuna who had a huge sigh of relief.

Naruto: 'I...couldn't do anything...'

He thought as he looked at Sasuke for the moment, then towards his best friend.

Naruto: 'Didn't they felt scared after that?'

Sasuke: Hey.

He said as this caught the blond's attention, staring at the ravenette.

Sasuke: Are you hurt...scaredy cat?

Naruto: Sasuke!

Kakashi: Naruto!

He said as this caught his attention, looking at their sensei as Y/N went over to the attacker, inspecting the body.

Y/N: 'Concussion, check. From the Hidden Mist presumably. Poison Claws, these guys are dangerous.'

He thought as he dragged the body towards Kakashi, only to see Naruto bleeding. Once things got settled down, both Y/N and Kakashi tied the attackers to a tree, but the case of four people witnessing Y/N's strength were still questioning it.

Once they were done, they were slowly regaining their consciousness, looking at the ninjas that they were ordered to target.

Attacker 1: How were you able to detect our movements?

He asked as Kakashi generously answered their question.

Kakashi: On a clear day like this today, when it hasn't rained for days, it is questionable that a mere puddle was here all of a sudden.

He said as he proceeded to talk to Tazuna out, having a slight problem with the mission that they had as Y/N decided to take a closer look at the attackers.

Attacker 2: What do you want!

He asked as Y/N didn't say anything, he just looked at them quietly, until he wanted to have some fun. Staring at their eyes, his pupils glowed a little bright, moments later, screams started to break the air as the two of them were starting to get wild.

Kakashi: Come on Y/N. We don't want to be late by sundown.

Y/N: Coming!

He yelled as he stood up, leaving two traumatized adults in the tree as the six of them went on their way, knowing that there were going to face a little more danger on their way.
