~Trigger Warning~
Descriptions of injuries, implications of lying and cheating

It took a few seconds for Remy to register who it was, but the moment his brain clicked that it was Roman a grin broke out on his face and he moved his sunglasses up onto the top of his head so that he could see them properly.

"Roman! Hon it's been too long since you last came over."

Shrugging, Roman stepped forward and hugged Remy, pulling away so that he could look down the side of him into the corridor.

"Been busy. Is Em in?"

"Yeah, he got back from work about ten minutes ago."

Stepping to the side of the door, Remy let Roman and Logan walk in, giving them a quick once over but keeping at least a slight smile on his face. He had no idea who the other guy was who Roman was with but it he'd bought him here then there was obviously a reason for it. To be honest, he was more concerned about the coloured bruises that covered the limbs of both of them, various shades blending into horrible messes. Quickly following after them, Remy shut the door and stood at the bottom of the stairs, leaning against the banister.

"Em babe, we've got visitors!"

"Since when?"

Taking their bags and hooking them up beside the door, Roman turned and smiled as Emile started walking down the stairs, ruffling his pale pink hair to try and sort it out.

"I didn't know we were expecting anyone-"

Cutting off as he saw it was Roman, a squeel originated from his throat and he jumped down the last of the stairs. Embracing him, he refused to let go for at least thirty seconds, Roman eventually having to push him off through laughter so that he could breathe properly. Face beaming, Emile rested his arms on Roman's shoulders.

"I didn't know you were coming!"

"Well, it wasn't exactly planned-"

"It's been too long. You need to come and visit us more seriously, you disappear so much people would think you're the avatar."

Spotting Logan for the first time, he tilted his head out of curiosity. Logan, meanwhile, felt as out of place as he could manage. He didn't know these people, he only knew their names from Roman talking to them and to make it even worse he was just stood here invading their house with no gift and without calling in advance. Shifting on his feet, Logan tried to figure out what it was he should do with the new-found attention. Probably introduce himself, perhaps offer an apology for the unexpected intrusion. Lifting a hand, he waved awkwardly. Ok he should not have done that. Trying to play it off, he offered his hand stiffly towards Emile.

"Salutations, I'm Logan. Logan Brainald."

Chuckling at his formality, Emile took the hand and shook it once, gently.

"Emile Picani, nice to meet you."

Staring between them, Roman sighed exasperatedly, the part of him that he actually liked making an appearance and the confidence leaking back into his system with every passing second that they remained in the house.

"Lo, this is Remy and Emile, my saviours on several occasions. Rem, Em, this Lo he's my boyfriend."

A sharp gasp later, Emile had his hands clasped together over his chest as he nudged Remy to make sure that he was looking. Finally! God knows Roman deserved someone.

"Anyways hon, you obviously came here for a reason considering you should be at school."

Hesitating, Roman rubbed the back of his neck and glanced over at Logan, expression saying enough. He didn't want to explain, not yet anyway. At some point maybe he would, but right now he just needed them to be alright and not to worry anybody else.
