"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh," Peter murmured under his breath as he ran up to Lainey. Blood was gushing down her calf. Cuts and bruises littered her pale skin. Deep circles underlined her eyes. An overwhelming sensation took over Peter when he looked at her.
"Karen," he was panicked and didn't know what to do. His AI didn't even have to be told what he wanted, she could already tell what was needed by the distress within the situation.
"She has a pulse, Peter, but she needs quick medical attention," she explained.
"Okay, thanks," he breathed kneeling down next to her. The venous bleeding sort of stressed Peter out. Clearly the bullet didn't go through cleanly like he was hoping. There was so much blood that Peter had to wipe it away until he found the point of entry. Once he found it, Peter quickly webbed up the bullet hole hoping that it would have enough pressure and stop the bleeding. Being careful not to hurt Lainey, he scooped her up in his arms. She was dead weight in his arms, which slowed him down quite a bit, but that didn't stop him. He just ran.
There was a window at the end of the hallway he sprinted towards. When he reached it, he found it was next to a door. He kicked open the door to find out it wasn't an exit. It was simply a closet. That meant he had to resort to the window.
He faced away from the window to shield Lainey with his body. Once she was protected and he was in position, Peter back kicked the glass. Luckily, it shattered easily. Very carefully Peter climbed out of the window with Lainey in his arms. He had no intentions of letting Lainey receive one more scratch on her frail, broken body.
"Karen, where's the Quinjet," Peter asked urgently scanning around.
"1.3 miles north east," the AI replied. Peter immediately started running, but then Karen spoke up again.
"You're going the wrong way, Peter." Peter blushed and turned around.
"Then which way," he asked irritated and embarrassed.
"To your left, Peter," Karen answered while projecting a compass on Peters screen, just incase.
"Thanks," he said before running off again. He wasn't covering much distance with Lainey. Yes, he could easily swing his way over, but not he and her. Even if she was conscious it would be difficult. So he just kept running.
About five minutes in Peters senses started tingling. A couple seconds later they were going insane. Quickly, he dodged to the left only to watch a bullet soar past exactly where his head used to be.
"Karen," he called out frantically speeding up while allowing his spidey sense to take control.
"There appears to be enemies in this area," she stated.
"Yeah, I got that," Peter commented. He had one idea of how to get out of this, and he didn't want to do it. Although, when he gazed down at Lainey he knew he had to. He wouldn't want to make it worse for her.
"Karen, call Mr. Stark," he commanded still running. Impatiently Peter waited for him to pick. Silently he prayed that he would. On the last ring, he answered.
"Look Parker, I know you love me and all, but I need to get this done without any distractions. Otherwise it won't ever happen," Tony explained about to hang up.
"No, no, no, no," Peter spat out those no's quickly grabbing Tony's attention, "don't hang up. I need your help."
"Look, kid, I'm gonna help you later," Tony stated ending the car. Peter was getting very frustrated, but he called again anyways. Of course, he put him on voicemail. Peter left this message,
"Okay, I know you're going to be mad, and I'm sorry, but I need you're help," Peter paused in between bracing himself for his next sentence, "I sort of snuck along and now I'm running away with Lainey in my arms as we are being attacked by agents, and I can't really fight because Lainey is in my arms, and they're attacking me, and yeah I'm going to go now, sorry. Oh, and if you help all you have to do is head straight north east to the Quinjet. You should find me. Okay, now I'm going to go now," he finished letting himself collect his composure.
Tony was notified of a voice mail coming in. He immediately knew who sent, and just because he opened it. There was no reason not to considering all he was doing was blasting HYDRA agents. Friday played the message for him. His only response was,
"Shit kid."
"Language," Steve scolded from over the coms as he took out another agent with his shield.
"Whatever capsicle, we need to go," Tony commented leaving.
"Where are you going, Tony," Natasha demanded while roundhouse kicking an agent.
"Peter is currently being chased by HYDRA agents while running with Lainey," Tony explained halfway towards the door as he shot at other people. At this point Bucky came up closer to them after finishing up his few pairs of agents.
"Hey, what's going on," Buck asked firing his gun backwards, hitting an agent who wasn't  expecting him to hit him.
"Oh my god. How do we get to him," Nat questioned heading towards the door also.
"He said north east to the Quinjet, so we might as well go that direction," Tony said leaving. Nat followed him. Steve was about to also, but stopped as Bucky said something.
"Who said what? What's happening, Steve," Bucky questioned putting his gun in his belt holster.
"I'll tell you on the way, just get Clint and Wanda," Steve ordered as he ran out towards the others.
"Steve," Bucky called out frustrated and confused. "Clint, Wanda, head northeast to the Quinjet," Buck commanded taping out of the coms.
    "What, why," Clint asked bewildered.
"I don't know that yet, just do it, captains orders," he explained running out the door.
"Buc-" Clint tried to ask him something again, but Bucky shut off his connections between the coms before he could.
"Well, looks like we have a new mission," Clint announced running out of the room they were currently fighting in.
"Great," Wanda replied sarcastically following Clint.
