Y/N's POV
Ding Dong! Looks like someone's at the door.. I opened my door and saw that Daniel is standing in front of me! We hung out the other day, and I was kind of hoping he'd come to see me soon.
"Oh, Hey Daniel!" I chirp. I hope I don't sound too excited to see him, because I definitely haven't been dreaming of him since yesterday.
"Hey Y/N." He says. "Come in! What are you doing here?" I ask as we make our way to my couch. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to come with the boys and I to the bowling alley tonight?""Yes! That sounds so fun!" " Okay, So I'll see you later?" "Yep! See you later!" I wave him out the door. "Bye Y/N!" I can't wait to go to the bowling alley.
~3 hours later~
I wake up to the sound of a doorbell ringing. What the heck?
I rush to the door and see that Daniel is standing there, waiting for me... Oh shoot! The bowling alley! I totally forgot.
I open the door and greet him. "Okay well I have to get ready because I fell asleep earlier so... give me five minutes, okay?" He nods and I run back inside to get ready.
I scramble to put my outfit together and brush my hair. By the time my five minutes is up, i'm ready to go. Hoping I remembered to brush my teeth, I climb into the car with Daniel. Corbyn's driving; Zach, Jack, and Jonah share the middle; Daniel and I get the back. It's a bit cramped, but hey. At least I'm next to Daniel, right? "So, Y/N, are you good at bowling?" Daniel questions. I can tell he's trying to get conversation started. "Funny you should ask. I happen to be an expert bowler." Fake it till you make it, right? "Really?" Daniel counters, "because I'm pretty sure just yesterday you said you were horrible at it?" I blush and look away. Thankfully someone else breaks the silence. "You know, that reminds me..." starts Jack. "Once upon a time, Daniel accidentally threw a bowling ball at some guy and almost knocked him out!" "Ummm i don't think Y/N needs to hear that story, do you?" He asks, glancing at me. "Yup. Please continue, Jack."I say, giggling. Needless to say, Daniel and I appeared to be the worst bowlers of the group, but that wouldn't stop us from trying our best.
~at the bowling alley~
After getting our shoes and bowling balls, we head to our aisle. "Okay, so first up is... Y/N!" I groan and reach for my pink colored ball. I walk up and take my stance. Legs shoulder width apart, arms dragging the ball in front of me. Swing back, and... release! I'm sure this'll be a strike! "Go Y/N!" cheers Jack. The ball rockets down the path, and then stops. It rolls into the gutter moments before hitting the pins. An awkward silence fills the air until everyone bursts out laughing. "Ha! Y/N, that was pathetic!" Daniel says through a fit of giggles. "I'd like to see you try," I glare at him with a mocking sour face. "Not so funny now, huh?" His face is sullen as I smirk at him when he reaches for a deep blue ball and takes his stance. He winds up, and rolls it down the track. At first contact, the ball speeds into the gutter. Now it's my turn to laugh. "Seriously Daniel!" I laugh. "That was worse than mine!" He smiles sheepishly and takes a seat next to me. After many rounds of bowling, the winner was declared. "And the winner is...," announced Zach, "Corbyn!" We politely applaud then decide to grab something to eat from the concessions. "I'll have some nachos with no cheese please," states Daniel. "Really?" I question, incredulous. "What kind of dork asks for nachos with no cheese! Isn't the whole point of nachos to dip the chips in cheese?" "Well yeah, but as you said... I am a dork!" He smiles funnily at me and waits as I order. He's so adorable. I hope we get to hang out more.
