Evan sat next to Sofia in chemistry class. He looked at her. Again. 'Evan, you can't do this. She may be a princess, but she's Snow White's daughter, ' he thought. Sofia looked dreamily too. He followed her gaze. She watched her boyfriend, Chad Charming, who gave her his smile. Evan sighed. 'Is there any chance that he's in line for a throne? Anywhere in line?' Evan asked Sofia. 'That's Chad. Prince Charming Jr., Cinderella's son. He's my boyfriend, ' she answered. Evan frowned disappointedly. 'Oh. Okay. Does he have a sister, maybe?' 'Yes, Darling, she's 12.' 'Dang it!' Darling was possibly still in middle school. She was too young for Evan's opinion. 'Interesting, ' Evan sighed. Not much luck. He continued looking at Sofia, but he was interrupted by Mr. Deley, the teacher.

'Evan, perhaps this is just a review for you. So tell me, what is the average atomic weight of silver?' Evan knew the answer, but he remembered what his mom always said to him: 'Princesses want a handsome guy, not a smart one.' 'Atomic weight? Uh, well, not very much. I mean, It's an atom, right?' he chuckled. Sofia frowned. She saw his book. All answers; correct. Mr. Deley beckoned him. Evan looked at Sofia with a "help" look for a second. He took his magic mirror and walked to the chalkboard. All eyes were on him.

'Let's see. How do I find the average atomic weight of silver?' The answer appeared in his mirror. 'That would be 106.905 times .5200, plus 108.905 times .4800, which, Mr. Deley, would give us 107.9 amu.' Sofia, who did the calculation in her head, frowned. '"Amu?"' Evan smiled with triumph. 'I forget. Always a mistake to underestimate...' '...a villain? Don't make it again.' Evan raised an eyebrow and tossed the piece of chalk back in Mr. Deley's hands. On his way to his seat, Chad gave him a note. 'Sofia, ' it said. Evan took it with a frown and gave it to Sofia. She frowned too and unfolded it.

'Meet me under the bleachers at three.

Chad.'

Sofia nodded at Chad to confirm their date. What the couple didn't know was that Evan read the note too. The three teenagers sighed and leaned on their hands. Evan knew Sofia wanted a prince, that was the tradition: princesses would marry princes and the opposite. He was a kind of prince, was he?
