Chapter 6: Fighting

Last time on Hogwarts Love Triangle...

"What..." she whispered almost as if she was scared of me, "he is not he is as I said he is and you can't change my mind just because you don't like him and no need to make him out to be a arse because we all know who the real arse is here Mr. Potter!" And with that she stormed off crying. 'Oh. No. No. No. What have I done?' I thought 'I shouldn't have said anything, I just ruined everything. She's going to hate me forever. And I made her cry maybe I am an arse and not Draco at least he doesn't make her cry'

Loren's POV

I ran away from Harry and back towards the Slytherin common room, not caring who I ran into or who saw me crying, I just wanted to go lock myself in the dormitory and not come out forever. 'Why would Harry ever say that to me? What did I do to deserve this? Draco's not a bad person or am I just a blind person?'  I finally arrived at the common room and said the password. As I ran in the common room I kept my head down so that no one saw me crying especially not Draco. If Draco saw me crying, he would kill whoever made me cry, even if Harry was my worst enemy I wouldn't wish that on him. But little did I know is that Draco was waiting by the common room entrance for me. He grabbed my arms and made me look him in the face.

"Hey Loren, what happened? Why are you crying?" he asked worriedly.

"It's nothing Draco, I'm okay," I replied with one of the fakest smiles.

"No it's not nothing Loren, you told me you don't cry without a reason and you don't like letting people see you cry so there's no way it's nothing. But if you don't want to tell me, I won't force you too." I explained, "As long as you give me a chance to cheer you up, plus you promised to practice our spell together." 

"Okay, okay we can still practice the spell, just let me find the parchment," I giggled while searching my pockets, "Alright there you go you can read it while I go freshen up." I gave him the spell and went to change into pj's since it's 8:30 already.

Draco's POV

I've been waiting for awhile for Loren, she had me go to the library with her before she went and hung out with her friends, and I've been in the common room waiting for her ever since, whenever someone would come in I would get excited thinking it was her. It's been 20 minutes or so since I got back and finally she rushed in. I got up and noticed something was wrong she had her head down as if she was embarrassed or crying. I grabbed her arms gently and lifted her face to look at me, her face was red and puffy, it broke my heart seeing her like this. I had to be strong for her though no matter what.

"Hey Loren, what happened? Why are you crying?" I asked worriedly.

"It's nothing Draco, I'm okay," she replied with one of the fakest smiles.

"No it's not nothing Loren, you told me you don't cry without a reason and you don't like letting people see you cry so there's no way it's nothing. But if you don't want to tell me, I won't force you too." I explained, "As long as you give me a chance to cheer you up, plus you promised to practice our spell together."

"Okay, okay we can still practice the spell, just let me find the parchment," she giggled while searching her pockets, "Alright there you go you can read it while I go freshen up." She went up to her dormitory and came back down about 10 minutes later, almost everyone was in bed by now, there was only a few older Slytherins sitting in the corners.

"You feeling better now?" I asked with a smile.

"Yeah, a little bit," she responded, "also thanks for not making me tell you what's wrong right away, so I promise to tell you once I'm ready." 

"So are you ready to practice?" I inquired.

"As ready as I'll ever be," she said. The new spell was called "Vengeeo" which we say mentally then think of what we want them to see/hear in their head and then direct the spell towards who you want it to go to. We practiced until about 10 o'clock and we had already almost perfected it.

"Well I'm going to head to bed, goodnight Draco," she said.

"Goodnight Loren," I responded and kissed her cheek. I blushed immensely and ran off to my dorm. I changed then climbed into bed and went to sleep.

~~~The next morning~~~

 Loren POV

Draco avoided me at breakfast and I was confused, he has never done this before even when we had pointless fights. I was going to talk to him then I remembered I could use our new spell so I whispered 'Vengeeo, Draco are you okay? Why are you avoiding me?'  As he got my message his face fell and he glanced at me then looked away, he started muttering and I suddenly heard, 'Loren I'm sorry after what happened before I ran off, I was too embarrassed to face you.'  I got up from my seat and went and sat by him, he looked at me confused. All I did was smile and kiss his cheek, then began to eat.

"Wha-hat was that for?" he asked still confused.

"To show you that you don't have to be embarrassed," I smiled, I suddenly felt eyes burning holes into me, I looked up and saw Harry staring at me with a shocked face, I glared at him and he dropped his eyes.

"What was that about?" Draco asked.

"One second, Vengeeo," I whispered and selected the memory from the Black Lake yesterday. Draco was silent for a while he watched my memory, at the same time I replayed it and almost starting crying, but someone hugged me. I looked up and saw it was Draco, he smiled and just kept hugging me. "Thanks Draco."

"Of course Lor, I know to everyone else I seem like an arse but it's just an act because my father told me to do it," he explained.

"Well just know you don't have to act around me," I smiled, "I'm going to the bathroom before class see you there." I waved goodbye and left. I heard someone following me in the corridor when I would stop they would stop, when I sped up they sped up, I began to run from them not knowing who they were. I turned a corner quickly and waited for them come around the corner with my wand ready. The person who was following was none other than the Potter boy.....
