Over The Hill

Prologue

"Hindi sana to mangyayari kung hindi mo pinaunlakan si Mommy noon! Sana hindi naging huli ito para sayo! May mahal na akong iba at si Raven yun!" Galit na galit kung sabi sa kanya

Hinawakan niya ako sa magkabilang braso ko pero hinawi ko iyon ng malakas dahilan para manghina siya

"Sweetheart please comeback to me, I know you still love me. I'm sorry kung hindi ako bumalik agad and I'm sorry for being a coward back then."

My tears were non-stop while staring at him. Other half of me says I still love him and I want to comeback but the other says he causes me a lot of pain so don't ever come back to him

"Huh?comeback?why would I come back to the person who crushed my heart into pieces?why would I settle for the things that causes me a lot of pain? Gab I'm not dumb. Now please stop what your doing stop fooling me around."

I turned around and walked away from him. Hindi ko kayang magtagal sa mga titig niya, hindi ko kayang nakikita siyang bumabalik sa akin.

From that moment, bumalik ako sa opisina para kunin ang mga gamit ko, pinalis ko ang mga luha ko para hindi makita ng mga empleyado namin. They only know that I have a strong charisma and strong personality. Pinakita ko sa kanila na malakas ako at hindi ako basta-bastang sumusuko  at hindi ako yung tipong kahit nasasaktan ay pinapakita ko sa iba ang tunay na nararamdaman ko. A great pretender I must say.

"Selena, I have to go home" sabi ko sa secretary ko over the intercom. Pinatay ko agad at kinuha ang bag ko

I was about to open my door when my secretary appears in front of me

"Miss Alemania, you have a meeting with Mr. Pacaña at 5pm po." she said formally

"I would like to cancel all of my meetings in this day Selena."

"Okay Miss I'll reschedule your meetings tomorrow miss."

I smile to her, she's giving me a way para makadaan ako

Pagkababa ko sa basement, I take my key from my bag at pinatunog ko ang kotse ko.

While I'm driving, napansin kong may sumusunod sakin at hindi ko  makakaila dahil kilalang kilala ko ang kotseng yun. I go the fast as I can para hindi niya ko masundan

Lumiko ako papuntang Green Valley dahil gusto kong mag-isip kung anong dapat kong gawin, huminto ako sa kinagawian kong lugar, It's whenever I'm stress or pressure about something I always visit this place so that my mind can relax by just watching the sunsets, listening the birds sang and the busy city down there.

"You always visit this place often?" A low baritone voice caught my attention

Lumingon ako sa kanya at tinignan siyang papuntang side ko

"Why are you here?" Inis kong tiningnan siya habang siya ay titig na titig sa view sa harap namin.

Then he looked at me.

"I told you Faye, I will not stop bugging you until you forgive me and comeback to me, I'll try my best, remember that sweetheart"

"Can't you see that I'm getting married? And getting married means commitment at payag ako dun!"

I saw his jaw clenched and his eyes becomes darker. I looked away kasi hindi ko talaga mapantayan ang mga titig niya.

"I knew it all Faye, you're just marrying him because in your company's state."

I fastly look at him. I was shocked pero hindi ko iyon pinahalata sa kaniya

"No! I don't! Hindi ko yun gagawin!"

He try to hold my hand pero hinawi ko yun

"Your company's going to fall and by marrying Raven your company will rise again. You must be in a hurry to marry him because you knew you can gain benefits."

Nagpupuyos ako sa galit hindi ko alam kung anong rason nito, maybe I'm angry because he's right or I'm angry because he insulted me and Raven, hindi ko na alam!

"How dare you!"

"Yes, sweetheart I know it all."

Hindi ako makasagot.

I was planning to walked away but he pulled and he gave me a swift kiss nagpupumiglas ako but then he continued doing it, No! We can't do this!
