"What's wrong, Jimin?" Jungkook asked with concern. He sat across the diner table from his boyfriend.
Jimin sighed, "Nothing. I'm just a little stressed about this parent's day thing we're having at the studio. It's still like two weeks away."
Jungkook tilted his head slightly, "Why? You're great with kids, Chim."
"It's not that, it's just- Hobi hyung asked me to help look for a piano player for the show. The one we had is having family issues or something."
"Not to sound mean or anything, but why do you guys need a piano for this thing in the first place? Can't you just use the recording?"
Jimin shook his head and Jungkook took a sip of his drink. "It's for a ballet class and there isn't a recording for the arrangement."
Jungkook was quiet for a minute with his eyebrows drawn way in. Then he got an idea, "What if you ask Yoongi? He plays piano. I would but I haven't touched one since that class."
"I FORGOT ABOUT THAT," Jimin yelled, covering his mouth suddenly after. No one in the restaurant was paying attention.
Jungkook chuckled, "You're a dork."
A waitress finally brought the desserts that they hard ordered. Jimin thanked her before she walked off. Jungkook spent a second ogling over his cheesecake before Jimin laughed, "You look like a dog drooling over a bone."
Jungkook huffed, "Well, I'm sorry for appreciating art."
Jimin smiled brightly. Before they knew it, their date was over and they were standing in front of Jimin's apartment. Jungkook couldn't stay the night but he still had the courtesy to walk Jimin all the way home.
"Bye, Kookie," Jimin wrapped his arms around the taller.
"Bye, Chim. Sleep well."
Jimin and Jungkook pulled away from each other. Jimin stood on his tippy toes and gave the other a light kiss on the lips. Jungkook grinned down at him as Jimin backed away, "Love you."
"I love you too," the older replied.
Jimin went inside his apartment after waving goodbye to his boyfriend who was now walking down the hall. Jimin got changed into his pajamas. Which were just a pair of shorts and his biggest hoodie. Then he decided, since it was only eight pm, that it was still early enough to ask Yoongi about playing the piano for the dance studio. He would be paid after all, and Jimin figured Yoongi might like that since he was out of a job at the moment.
The short man walked out of his apartment and knocked on the door of the one just to his left. He waited patiently as he heard some shuffling inside. Yoongi opened the door a second later with an irritated scowl.
Jimin was a bit shocked, "I didn't wake you up or anything did I?"
Yoongi rubbed his eyes, "Oh, Jimin, it's just you. I thought it was the guy across the hall coming to bother me again." Jimin giggled and Yoongi yawned, "I don't have my glasses or contacts on at the moment, so I can't see very well."
"I, um, came over to ask you a favor," Jimin nervously said. This was really the only place he could turn to for a pianist at this point.
Yoongi leaned against his doorway, "I can't guarantee a yes, but go ahead and shoot your shot."
Jimin shook his head, "Please don't say that again."
"Just ask me what you wanted to ask me. I will say what I want to, shorty."
"I wanted to ask if you would play the piano for parent's day at the dance studio. It's a few weeks away, but you'll need to come into the studio to practice with the dancers. Hobi said he'll pay whoever we get to do it."
"... okay, I'll do it. What days do I need to come to the studio and for how long?"
Jimin thought back to what Hoseok had told him, "Hobi-hyung asks if you could come in as much as possible. If you want, you could come to and leave work with me, and practice or hang around the studio when we don't have a class to work with."
"Alright, sounds good," Yoongi smiled tiredly.
Jimin bowed slightly, "Thanks, hyung. We really needed it. Would you like Hoseok's number so you guys can work out more of the details?"
"Yes please," Yoongi nodded and got his phone off of the kitchen counter.
Yoongi handed Jimin the phone and he typed in Hoseok's phone number. It was one of the few phone numbers Jimin had memorized. Only because he had to give it out so much.
"Thanks again," Jimin said.
"No problem. It's a win win."
Jimin waved and then went back to his own apartment to go to sleep. He was a bit worn out and would need all of the rest he could get.
