Taehyung convinced Jimin to go out shopping with him the week before his birthday. Tae was dead set on buying Jimin everything he wanted, and Jimin was convinced that it was because the boy still felt guilty. Jimin felt bad that the boy was spending all of his money on him, but once Taehyung had his mind made up there was no changing it. Overall, Jimin was just really happy that their friendship was going back to normal. Ever since the dance competition a week ago, they'd hung out quite often. Tae even brought Jimin lunch at work a few times. Hoseok complained that he didn't get any but Jimin and Taehyung would laugh it off. Jimin had been substantially happier this past week than he'd been the whole month of September.
Their trip started in the coffee shop and then they started going through all of the clothing stores to see if there was anything either of them liked. While browsing the clearance section of Hollister Taehyung built up the courage to ask, "So what's going on between you and Yoongi?"
Jimin had to admit that he was caught off guard. Which caused him to mumble, "W-what do you mean?"
The taller smirked, "Oh nothing. It's just you two have seemed to get really close lately and I think it'd be really cute."
"Well," Jimin blushed, "He helped me a lot after the breakup. He was actually the only person I talked to for a while because he's just not as... intrusive as Jin or the others."
"Yeah, Jin was pretty upset that you wouldn't talk to him at first. So Namjoon had to explain that some people need personal space like he does once and a while," Tae giggled.
Jimin nodded, "You'd think the guy that loves his personal space would understand other people wanting to have it."
"Anyway, back to the original topic."
"I guess you could say..."
"Say what?" Taehyung asked, putting his full attention on the boy on the other side of the shirt rack.
Jimin's blush was getting more prominent by the second, "That I think he's attractive and a good person."
"So you have a crush on him?"
"No!" Jimin whined, "I wouldn't call it that."
"But does he tickle your pickle?"
Jimin whacked his friend on the side of the head with the graphic tee he was holding. "Shut up before I beat you," he threatened.
Taehyung rolled his eyes, "Stop changing the subject. It's obvious you have a crush on him because your cheeks are redder than a coke can."
That sentence was what triggered Jimin to run after Taehyung and try to wrestle him to the ground. Which obviously failed since the younger was much bigger than his short-fused hyung. Tae laughed at the angry expression on Jimin's face.
"I love you, Jiminie."
"I hate you."

"What do you think of this?" Jimin asked as he stepped out of the dressing room.
"That shirt, beautiful. It reminds me of the one you wore for your solo because of the way it shows off your collar bones. Those pants, tight. They look cute but also like every single other pair of pants you own," Taehyung said as he spun Jimin around like a mannequin, "Overall it's a really hot outfit that's sure to make Yoongi want to fu-."
"Stop right there," Jimin covered his friends mouth with his hand, "I don't want to even think about that. We don't even know if he swings this way."
"True, but you didn't deny that you like him this time."
Jimin scoffed and went back to the changing room. He put back on his clothes and then went back out into the store with his friend to pick accessories to go with the outfit. Jimin didn't know when he'd get the chance to wear the ensemble, but he and Taehyung had the tradition of shopping for birthday outfits with each other every year. Twice a year. Once for each of their birthdays.

Jimin may or may not have squealed, causing his best friend to look over at him from the other end of the small couch. "What is it?"
"Nothing," Jimin took a deep breath to calm himself down.
"It's Yoongi isn't it?"
Jimin nodded and just gave Taehyung his phone to read the messages himself. He knew he wouldn't be able to keep it from the prying boy anyway.
"He didn't say it was a date but I'm excited anyway."
"Jimin, it's a date."
"Not unless Yoongi says it is."
"Whatever you wanna tell yourself."
"I wonder who told him it was my birthday though," Jimin thought aloud as he put his phone back down.
