Just a warning ahead of time, this chapter will be a little long.

It's about time I updated this book, jeez. So, as you can tell, I really wanted to really give you guys something to read. Something that'll keep you occupied for a bit while I work on the next few chapters. Don't worry, these next few chapters I'll be releasing after this won't be as long. So for the ones who don't like to read pretty long chapters, you all can skip to those ones once they're out. Also wow, there's over 60k views on here now, thanks!

Alright, I'm finally back after forever. Sorry for the wait everyone, I got caught up in some IRL stuff and couldn't really find the motivation to pop on and type anything up for a while. I'm back for now though! So, here's some of the headcanons that I found interesting in the previous chapter.

I'll be linking the accounts right next to each one here that way you guys will know exactly who I got each interesting idea from. After all, these ideas aren't my original ideas. I need to credit their original creators. Thank you to the ones who commented on the previous chapter by the way, I really appreciate it. I'll be posting some of my own chapters later on once I complete them. Oh, before I continue on I want you all to know that I won't be quoting these all word for word. I'll still include the headcanons themselves of course, but I'm going to be adding my own commentary into there and sort of rephrasing them. So there may be times where I've misinterpreted certain ideas here and there. If that does happen, I apologize.

Okay so the first one here is actually gonna have quite a few of them. Thanks Purdygirl1420 for all these interesting headcanons! I actually really like these ideas. In fact, they've helped me out in creating some future ones too.

1. SCP 682: I was actually going to include the first part here as one of my own headcanons too, I love this idea here. So basically what they said was that SCP 682 only puts on this big, intimidating facade because internally he's just a big softie who needs a friend. Honestly, I can relate lol

The second part here is what really caught my eye. They included that he's actually secretly let his guard down a bit due to a certain doctor telling him off. They most likely told him that not all humans are as bad as they seem to be for although some humans do indeed hate animals (even though technically humans are animals too) and are quite careless in the things they do, this certain doctor is quite the contrary. They themself actually used to work part-time in a wildlife conservation sanctuary. This most likely gave him quite the surprise.

This next one is for SCP 035: Ah, one of my most favorite SCPs out there! This guy, although he's just a mask, he still has his own likes and dislikes of which really show whenever he's taken ahold of a host. So, in this headcanon, Purdy said that he quite enjoys the beautiful art of ballet dancing and that during the times he gets ahold of a host, he'll sometimes use them to go see a show put on by these dancers. I can see why one would think this too, after all, this mask/entity has been around for quite some time now. Probably even longer than 049 himself. He was most likely around to see the very first moment that this dance was invented and practiced. The graceful movements, the talented dancers, the intricate designs of the costumes, the interesting stories that some play out...It's all so mesmerizing.

Onto the second part they had. Now, although he's quite an artifact himself, he's actually not as mature as one would think. Meaning he's the type of guy who will laugh at his own dirty jokes. This doesn't mean that he himself is a pervert of course, he's just got a childish sense of humor.

2. This next one is from ShadeStar413

They had the idea that SCP 999 doesn't actually cure depression (of which I agree with), but he actually slows down the feelings and symptoms of depression instead. Kind of like certain types of drugs that I'd rather not mention by name on here just in case some of you are sensitive to things like that. So, similar, but not the same. They then went on to explain that after a certain amount of time, the one being affected by this eventually will get addicted to that feeling, so of course over time they'll eventually start to depend on 999 due to the craving of this feeling. They'll basically feel completely void of happiness unless they're in physical contact of little 999 himself. 999 then proceeds to feed on said happiness for a while before finally giving the now desperate other person their happiness back. You know, that actually makes a lot of sense. It shows just how dangerous 999 may be despite how adorable the little guy is. That could be why he's locked up too. Not only is he an unknown creature that people don't exactly understand completely, but he's also shown to be quite harmful to other creatures. Mainly humans.

3. And here's the last one from Mehwutevz

This one is all about SCP 049. This is also another one that I share too. They basically said that despite being a doctor himself, 049 actually has quite a weak immune system. This is probably because he's still a plague doctor and if you know plague doctors, they aren't the best at keeping themselves or others very healthy. Sure, he may be an inhuman creature who's basically ageless, but that doesn't mean that he himself can't get sick quite easily. This seems like something he'd keep hidden from anyone and anything though for this could be used to potentially harm and/or kill him and he'd rather live for at least another two centuries or so.

Alright, so that's all for now. Sorry to those who I didn't include in here, I honestly just didn't want to type anymore. There's over 1,000 words in this chapter so far, so I think this is long enough. So anyway, I hope you guys have enjoyed this so far, I'll be back with some more headcanons in a bit.

I'd also like to give special thanks to EveeIsMe here for stating that they're gonna be using some of my headcanons in their own SCP book. I've actually got it saved in my library so that I can keep up with it along side the other stories I've got saved in there. It actually really does brighten up my day knowing that my little headcanons make some of you so happy and even inspire you guys in your writing. It's amazing how I originally just made this little book just to save up a bunch of headcanons that were originally stored on my computer because they were taking up too much space and then I was gonna leave it at that, but now I actually want to continue it on and not only create some new ideas myself, but also now use some cool, original ideas from some of you guys too. I didn't think I'd get past like 10-20 views, but knowing that I've got almost 70k views now?! It's crazy lol
