Well, I'm finally finished with this one. Sorry for the wait guys, I've been pretty busy lately.
ANYWAY, here's some more idiot bird boy, regular bird man and liquid diabetes headcanons!
1. Due to his old age, SCP 049 knows lots of strange things like bizarre wine facts, facts about swing dancing, various names for different types of alcohol, many different languages...a little too much on black magic, how to care for multiple cats in one house and much more.
2. Despite the fact that he doesn't really need to eat, 049's sense of taste is actually pretty strong and precise. 049-J once tried to feed him crackers, but all he really did was toss crackers at the side of 049's head until he got dragged out of his cell.
3. 049's skin is kinda tough, stretchy and strong at the same time. It's meant to withstand sharp objects for at least a few minutes. Eventually it will break and develop an injury, this weird texture of skin is just meant to make it harder to do so.
4. SCP 999 has eaten an entire candle before. Including the glass container it was in. He doesn't remember why he did it, but he still did it and he's very proud of himself. According to him, peppermint candles don't really taste like peppermint and we should really trust him on that.
5. SCP 049-J once tried to use SCP 999's slime as a "cure" during a breach, but he got stopped by 049 right as he was about to throw the poor little blob of slime at the wall. Why was he going to throw him at the wall as a cure? Not even 049 himself can figure this out. This thing can come up with some of the weirdest and most bizarre ways of "curing" people, things and other creatures around him much to 049's disappointment.
6. SCP 049, although he doesn't particularly like 049-J, he knows that if he wasn't there at the facility he probably wouldn't have much to do. The little guy is basically free entertainment that he usually has to clean up after. Kind of like having a puppy. A dumb, slightly smelly puppy who always wears a yellow robe.
