"oh, sorry-" i mumbled after i had bumped into someone on my way to the elevator. i looked up and met calum's brown eyes.

"hey," he smirked.

"what are you doing here?" i breathed pulling the key to my apartment out.

"to talk about your poisonous heartbreak, sweetheart," he said slyly.

"how do you know that my heartbreak was poisonous?" i raised my eyebrow.

"i know more than you think," calum chuckled.

"c'mon," i grumbled and pulled him to the elevator. we stepped inside and i pressed the "11" button.

"the eleventh floor, huh?" he raised his eyebrow.

"they're cheaper," i grumbled and leaned against the wall of the elevator.

"money problems?" he raised his eyebrow. i nodded. "me too," he sighed pulling out his pack of smokes and shaking it around.

"how much do you know?" i asked as we stepped out of the elevator.

"too much for both of our likings," he muttered.
