HEATH

Music: Boss from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards

As soon as we left the room, three men came up and snatched Luke right out of the arms of Quavando, Sam, and I. They began running away, and I yelled, "AFTER THEM!"

As we sprinted back through the corridors, more guards came, and they were armed. Luckily, thanks to Joseph, we stayed shielded. Shanna tossed one of the guards through the air to Sean and he punched the guard in the stomach, then Shanna picked up Sean by the ankles and swung him around, hitting guards within a five foot radius.

Quavando went into his dragon mode and I hopped on, watching him breathe fire. I waited until he got high up, then I jumped onto several guards, knocking them out. One had a Western pistol, and I was VERY good at quick drawing.

Soon, I had 5 guards surrounding me. I got the pistol and shot all of them down in exactly 1.7 seconds. That time sucks; my best is 0.9 seconds.

Isabelle created a forest nearby and was actually able to get animals there. Elle has recently figured out a way to change the feelings of animals by thinking in a slightly different way, so she made them kill some more guards.

Ariana threw several guards into the ceiling, with the help of Abbey. Abbey also managed to take all the guards' guns, thanks to her magnetic powers.

I quickdrew more guards while Sam helped me by using red bell beams to his advantage. Then, he charged up a lot of speed, jumped off several walls like crazy, and slid through all the guards, knocking them off their feet.

Isabelle made the final touch by making a thunderstorm occur indoors. By this point, we were in the library, so we found the exit and moved forwards.

Our powers sure are helpful.

LUKE (in his head)

So, um, yeah. Apparently my brainwashed self likes Shanna. No idea why.

I heard myself say, "I hope I see her again." Then he left out the door- wait, where am I going?

I then saw. Shanna was in my sights, so I was following her. That's kinda dumb if you ask me.

Shanna must've seen this, because I saw her shooing me away. Given how I apparently couldn't resist her, I kept going.

Let's just hope I'm not too obsessed...

ARIANA

Music: Silvery Wings Again from Salamander 2

While we were walking along, I felt a disturbing presence behind us. I turned my head around long enough to find Luke walking behind us, trying his best to make sure we didn't spot him. That didn't work out too well.

"Oh, for the love of God," Shanna sighed.

"Luke, we can all see you," Sam called out to him.

"Hush, Sam," I told him. Then I looked to Elle and whispered, "Elle, are you willing to make him go away? He's creeping Shanna- and all of us- out."

"I can try," Elle shrugged. She closed her eyes for a few seconds, then opened them again, shaking her head. "Can't do it. The hypnosis blocks me from his mind, and I can't change his feelings."

I could only sigh in reply.

"Maybe we should just tell him to go away?" Isabelle suggested, shrugging.

"I doubt he'd listen," Abbey replied. "Besides, he could act up on us."

"So basically, we can't do anything with him," Joseph said.

"Basically."

A few minutes of silence later, Quavando thought of something. "If we can keep Luke following us, maybe we can take him home and un-brainwash him there!"

"Sounds like our best shot," Abbey muttered.

"How close are we to home, Ariana?" Sam asked me.

I closed my eyes and located our home in my GPS. "About an hour away by walking."

"Let's keep at it, then."

Sure enough, it worked. But after a few minutes he looked a bit concerned, and that's when we realized Shanna hadn't said anything for a while.

"Guys, did anybody see Shanna leave?" Sean eventually asked.
