ELLE

Music: DeathBasket's remix of Staff Roll from Super Mario 64

It was now 5:45 PM. We had finished cleaning up Heath's house, and everyone seemed pooped. It was quite obvious that it was time to call it a day.

"Man, what an adventure that was," Shanna sighed as she stared up at the ceiling.

"I think it's time to head home," Abbey said, and Isabelle nodded in agreement.

Then an idea popped into my head. "Why don't we all walk home together? It would be a nice way to conclude the day."

Nobody seemed too excited about it, but then again, nobody said no. Sam's answer was, "Well, it sounds a bit cheesy, but I think it'll be okay."

"Alright. Let's do it," Ariana said. With that, all of us except for Heath got up and left Heath's house. I called out, "Bye, Heath!" and accidentally made Heath jump up in surprise.

The first person we dropped off was Luke (we did this in a bit of a random order). As he began to walk away from us to his house, he turned to us and said, "Listen, thanks for helping me out today, guys. It means a lot."

"Oh, don't mention it," Sam replied, with a smile. Once Luke was out of hearing range, he turned to me and whispered, "I really don't want him to mention it. Ever." I giggled.

Next, we dropped off Sean and Shanna. I complimented both of them for being brave today, which made both them happy (I can confirm that), and made me feel good on the inside, too.

Our next stop was Joseph's house. When we dropped him off, he told us, "Y'know, I don't normally say stuff like this, but today was actually fun!"

"Really?" Quavando asked, looking suspicious.

"Nah. It sucked." Joseph then walked away, leaving us all to glare at him as if he were a mysterious creature.

After dropping Joseph off, we then went to Ariana's house. Sam told her, "Ariana, I just want you to know that if it weren't for you, we probably wouldn't have made it through today."

"No problem. I may not act like it all the time, but it truly is fun going on these missions," Ariana smiled.

SAM

Up next, we dropped Quavando off. His last words before taking off were, "Time to go home and try to not think about today!"

I nudged Elle in the shoulder and we both smirked.

Then we went to Abbey's house to drop her off for the night. Isabelle and Abbey hugged and told each other goodbye as she walked up to her front steps.

Our second-to-final stop that would still have more than one person walking was Isabelle's house. As she walked up, Elle said to her, "Isabelle, I know you may not enjoy hanging with people like us, but we really do appreciate you being around."

"I second that," I added.

"Thanks, guys. Sometimes it can be fun," she told us.

Next up, Elle's house. The entire time, we were walking hand-in-hand, so when we finally had to disconnect in front of Elle's house, it was a bit awkward, to say the least.

"Elle, you did a great job today. I know it wasn't your best day, but I'm proud of you for being able to live through it," I told her.

"Thanks, Sam," Elle replied, smiling. "You did an amazing job yourself."

"Oh, y'know. I try," I laughed. "Now, I better get heading home. It seems that I'm the only one left."

Elle smirked to herself. "Be safe."

"I make no promises!" I called out to her as I began walking away. I blew her a kiss and she blew me one back.

Finally, I arrived at my front door. As I rang the doorbell, my mind flashed back to all the events of today. The parties, rescuing Luke and ourselves from captivity, and all of the excitement inbetween. My mom opened the door, and when she saw me, she bewilderedly asked me, "Sam! Where have you been all day?"

I shrugged and told her, "That is a story for another time. But let's just say I had an exciting day today."

"Well, I'm glad to hear that. Now come in. I'm making meatloaf for dinner!"

"Ooh, that sounds fantastic."

Well... that's the end, I guess. See ya next time.
