Let me introduce how this story came about...

Episode 26. Uff episode 26, uuufff!!!

When Sanem was hovering over that scent contract, pen in her hand - I was screaming at my tv “No! Don’t do it! Put the pen DOWN! PEN DOOOWWWN!”
But I guess she couldn't hear me (my neighbors sure could) and signed the contract anyway.

I wrote these first 2 chapters right before episode 35 aired. Yep. Thats how long I was stuck on this. It wrecked me for weeks, MONTHS!

So many theories running around twitter, facebook, everywhere! We had that long break between 26 and 27 and all we fans could do was imagine scenarios on how Sanem would get out of it. But, nope. Nothing. That jaw dropping-ly beautiful proposal in episode 27. Wasted.

Thennnnnn episode 35 aired. And wouldn’t you know it? SANEM SIGNED ANOTHER F*CKING CONTRACT WITHOUT READING IT. DEAR GOD!
It was slow going after that for me. I got 3 more chapters written, but the show just continued to piss me off with all its missed opportunities. I started on my AU (If You Tell Me To Stay) and I was having so much more fun writing that.

I love that Sanem was selfless in episode 26. She was willing to give up everything to save Can from jail and get the shares back from the Clutches Of Evil. I thought she was so brave. Of course, at this time I still saw this show as a Rom-Com. And in my naivete, I really thought the writers would NEVER ACTUALLY give away the perfume recipe. This perfume felt like the life’s blood of the show. It's what brought our Early Bird and Albrotoss together. So many romantic and heartfelt moments centered around this scent.

So when Sanem learned she had been tricked by sleazy Fabri and his word games, by giving away his shares to Aylin, I saw this as Sanem’s way out. One I wish the writers would have taken to this day. But she didn’t hear me screaming at my TV to put down the pen, and singed that ******* *** *** ***** Contract.
In my mind, Sanem is brave and fierce. She wouldn't have backed down to someone like Fabri.

Now that the show is coming to an end, I wanted to finish up this story. Or else it would just haunt me and take up room in my hard drive. As much as this show ruined me, it gave me life as well. It’s a weird relationship to have, especially with a tv program in another language. But here I am, sitting at my desk. Box of tissues on one side of me, a glass of wine on the other, and a bowl of ice cream in my lap. I am truly devastated by its coming to end. EK deserved better.

So here for you reading pleasure is the version I am made up in hopes to make myself feel better. I follow the main events of the show, but add my own new scenes or just change around the original a bit to my liking. (and probably yours too *winky face*)
Story starts during episode 26. Sanem has that pen her hand. Looking at the contract. And you have probably have already guessed… she doesn't sign it.
