"Hope, come on... talk to me," I nearly beg her as we sit in the backseat of Dr. Saltzman's Jeep. "What happened yesterday while I was with MG and Lizzie?" She just went to bed last night when the spell stopped, and she's barely spoken since.

"Landon was wandering through the woods and I almost killed him," She explains finally in a huff of anger as she turns towards me and away from the window.

"You what???" I ask in horror, Alaric looking at us through the rearview mirror.

"I was transformed and going for a run and he was walking through the woods," She explains, my concern decreasing slightly. "I changed back, stole his hoody so I wasn't bare naked and went and changed into some actual clothes. Then I showed him around the library and told him about our family. At the end of the night, I took him back to his cell, and we kissed. That's what happened, okay?" She asks, her annoyance level rising at having to relive it in her head.

"H, I know you must hate him right now. I mean he's one of the first people you have let close to you in ages and it turns out that he stole a knife from the school, but I'm sure there is a reason for it," I try to soothe, trying to ignore the images flashing through my mind from the spell last night.

"Your optimism is going to be your downfall, Andie," Hope states, her voice dark and judgemental. "You saw the same thing I did last night."

"Yeah, and I'm holding out hope that my friend has some miraculous reason to defend taking the knife. Just because your boy toy left suddenly, doesn't mean you get to take it out on me," I grumble, turning towards my window as she does the same.

Sirens wail as Hope, Alaric and I stand with Sheriff Donovan in the middle of a highway.

"Called in a favor with a buddy at State Patrol, asked him to lock down the scene till we got here. Local PD thinks it was a chemical spill," Sheriff Donovan states, his eyes drawing between Hope and I before going back to Alaric.

"Well, what's the actual story?" I question, raising an inquisitive brow as I look over said Sheriff. I've seen him and met him a few times over the years but Hope and I know him best from Aunt Beks' stories of dating him when he was in high school.

"I'll leave that to you to figure out," he sighs, shaking his head.

"Alright. Thanks, Sheriff," Alaric says, beginning to lead the way to a rather charred bus as I stay back for a moment.

"Sheriff Donovan?" I ask, my Mikaelson smirk present.

"You are definitely Klaus' daughter," He mumbles but nods as my smirk falls at the mention of my father. He obviously notices because his own face falls. "I'm sorry about him and your uncle. And your mom. No one should have to go through that," He apologizes as I give him a sad smile.

"Thanks, Sheriff. I just wanted to say that Aunt Beks told my sister and I great things about you from when you were young. I just wanted to thank you for giving her those stories," I explain, tapping my foot anxiously.

"No problem..." He starts, trailing off. "I am so sorry I don't know which Mikaelson you are," He apologizes.

"It's okay. I'm Andrea, my sister is Hope," I explain, shaking his hand. "I should get back to it. I'll see you around sir," I say with a wave and a smile, jogging to the bus and stepping inside. And when I do, I'm shocked and sickened to my stomach. The entire length of the bus is charred from the inside out. Every seat, bar, and item is burned thoroughly. Including the remains of the passengers.

"What did Landon do?" I question in shock.

"Still being an optimist?" Hope questions angrily, although I know her anger isn't truly towards me.
