You couldn't help but message San the minute you woke up from your slumber.

You're in shock that he's in the same city that you are in.

Perhaps the universe likes to pull you to the places that you're meant to be.

As Hongjoong attends his meetings, you prepare yourself for meeting San. You are nervous, as you weren't expecting to meet up with him.

It's been awhile since you've last seen him, and you've gone through a lot since you've last seen him.

But you're excited as well. He has been an important figure in your life, being there for some crucial parts of your life.

He's dropped everything when you've needed him most, and he's still dropping everything to see you once again.

San told you that he would pick you up at the hotel you're staying at so you don't get lost in this big city. You're grateful for this.

When he arrives, he messages you that he's there.

On the elevator ride down, your heart is pounding and your palms become sweaty. You're happy though.

You immediately spot him in the lobby where you call out to him.

"San!"

You have a huge smile on your face.

Your nerves wash away as he greets you with a huge smile on his face as well.

"[Y/N]! It's so good to see you again!"

He embraces you in a tight hug.

"Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to see me."

"It's important that I see friends that I don't see as often anymore. I've missed you, and I think about you, especially since you've been going through a lot. I hated that I couldn't be there for you when you needed me most."

"I think this has helped me become stronger. It helped me grow closer with Hongjoong. I feel like I still don't know him well, but at the same time, I do know him. Had things been different, I don't think we would be together now."

"Right! Tell me more about you and him!"

You go more in depth with how you and Hongjoong got closer and started dating as the two you walk around New York City.

San explains what's going on in his life as well, as you're excited to hear about his acting career.

You find yourself enjoying your time, especially since it feels like a vacation. You treat yourself to lots of delicious foods and treats. San becomes your personal photographer, taking photos of you at touristy spots.

You spend the afternoon and evening catching up and having fun, forgetting about the rest of the world and your worries.

Hongjoong was right, this trip is good for you.
