FEW YEARS LATER
It's Convocation day
Zara was getting ready. She was wearing beautiful convocation cap and gown.
"How happy Mama could be if she would be here to see me wearing my gown and all. I am missing you Mama. Today I just fulfill yours' and my dream. Now I am a Doctor. I pledge that I will safe every single life with the help of Allah".
She mumbled in her room. She took her Mama's favorite perfume and sprinkle on her neck. She could smell her fragrance of her Mama. She recall all the things that her mother used to say about her profession, she remembered that her mother said, "My wish for you is that this life becomes all that you want it to. Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small and that you never need to carry more than you can hold."
She was recollecting all the meaningful thoughts of her Mama, her young mind was flashing back all the memories with her Mama. Zara was lost in Nostalgia for a moment. Once her mother said, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.. You wanted to be a Doctor, I know you can be ."
She applied some gloss on her lips, brushed her hair. She was looking sophisticated and elegant.
She applied a thick line of eye liner on her eyes which looked disproportionate. So she decided to clean it with a makeup removing wipe.Zara has been a bug in a book always. She was never interested in other girlish stupid fantasies. She was simple enough like her mother and She never wear make-up"What kind of woman I am??
I can't even apply a perfect fine line of eyeliner. Phhhewww!!!. I think i should better take classes of how to apply eyeliner." ,She murmured in the lowest possible voice."Zara madam!!
Uncle is waiting for you in the garage area. He is calling your name." Maid told Zara.Zara replied, " I am coming please wait for 1 minute."
She wiped her liner with a wet tissue paper quickly.
She was not wearing any makeup but she was looking so flawless and graceful.
She rushed toward the garage area where she met her father. It was a proud moment for both of them.
" My little baby has just graduated. How quickly time flies! You are looking so beautiful. Your simplicity makes you more elegant just like your mother. Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education. Graduation isn't the end of a tough journey. It is the beginning of a beautiful one...", Mr Tariq praised Zara.
Both sited in the car and was leading towards her University. She was smiling occasionally
It was a dramatic and quite remarkable moment when Zara's name was echoing and she stepped towards the stage where she was given a shield and her degree. For her it was obviously an extraordinary feeling. She was a bit emotional too.
When she quickly stepped down to meet her father again,
She exclaimed with happiness, "I did it, now it's time to celebrate! I am so happy Baba, I can't even explain you how happy I am. It always seems impossible until it's done."
Mr Tariq patted on her head and said, "You did it, Congratulations . Graduation is an exciting time. It marks both an ending and a beginning; it's warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future. Today is a milestone. It tells you how far you've come."
She nodded in affirmation and replied, "Thank you so much Baba. It's all because of you. You are my strength and sway. Thank you for your all kind of moral supports. I am so blessed."
Mr Tariq said, "Caps off to you, Graduate, well done! Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined. Your Mama might be smiling on this day, in heaven too."
They both went to the University and had a great day. People were congratulating both of them. It was a happy moment for the family after some hardships.
Mr Akber also found time in his busy schedule to congratulate her on her biggest achievement.
Mr Akber invited Mr Tariq and Zara for dinner to celebrate this day.
They were invited at Zara's favorite restaurant. Mr Akber also captured some memorable pictures of both Mr Tariq and Zara.
Zara and Mr Tariq had a great time.Maybe Akber was the only relative to whom Zara was comfortable with. He understands her and he was always there for her family whether it's a good day or bad day.
