Chapter 7: Confessions

"Edward.. thank you." you smile.

"For what? What did I do?" he smirked.

"Don't play dumb! For... everything. You're always looking out for me even when.. even when I didn't contact you for years. It's like you never gave up hope, even though you thought I was dead. You always look out for me. Thank you so much.." you said while looking away, smiling. "Wanna know something?"

He grinned. "What?"

"I love you, Edward. I mean it too. You just give me this.. feeling and I love it. It makes me feel special! Like someone in this universe actually cares about me. I just wanted to say thank you."

"(Y/n) why are you thanking me? You don't think I actually care about you? I do, so you don't have to thank me."

"But I do! You saved me from the homunculus, my father, and you are letting me live in your house. You deserve a thanks, don't you think..?"

"No, don't thank me. I do this because I want to. I love you (y/n). I've never had this feeling before either.. you know? For the first time since.. the incident, I feel happy. No one else has been able to do that to me. And I mean no one."

You walked into his arms. "Stop it, you'll make me blush." you turn red.

"Too late.." he started blushing too.

Alphonse suddenly walked in the room. Even though he was armor, you could tell he was chuckling.

"Sorry, did I interrupt something?" he slurred while giggling.

"A-Alphonse! No.. we were in the middle of an.. alchemy lesson! You just walked in the middle of it and.. " Edward trailed off.

"An alchemy lesson? Sure that's what it was brother. I'll leave you two alone." he laughed again.

"Alphonse!" he yelled whole blushing.

"Have fun!" Alphonse smirked as he shut the door.

"Alphonse, you little-" he gets interrupted.

"Aw, come on. It's kind of cute how he really cares about you."

"How does that have to do with caring?" he said, confused.

"He's teasing you because he l o v e s and c a r e s about you. don't forget that." you said. "Hey I have an idea, how about we go somewhere?"

"You mean like.. a date?" he asked.

You grin and turn away. "That's exactly what I mean."
