Chapter Four: Who is this Girl? (edited)

"Don't you ever touch her again!" The boy on top screamed at the other on the ground. Who did he touch? I looked up and saw my little sister crying and shaking!

I ran over to Ali and slowly went in for a hug. She just pulled me in, and I held her in her arms. She was shaking and her breaths were heavy. I dragged my fingertips across her back. Shh, its okay. I'm right here your safe.

Once her breathing calmed, she let go of me. The crowd was gone but the guy from earlier and the girls were still standing there. The other dude was gone.

Diya walked up to him and asked, "What happened between her and that boy?" I turned to him and our eyes met. The same icy blue eyes from earlier that morning.

I looked away and he cleared his throat. "Well, I don't know who that boy was. But he was gripping onto her wrist and she was trying to get out of his grip."

I turned to her and she already knew the question. "H-he was my b-boyfriend..." She started crying again. So, I engulfed her into a hug.

I heard footsteps coming our way. When I looked up there was three more boys and one girl standing by him. "Sorry, but who are you?" Alexa's asked him.

He looked at her and said, "Conner Gates" she nodded her head. "And these are my friends, "Kory, Cameron, and Jayden. And she is Fallen, Jayden's girlfriend." They all said hello.

"Now what are yalls names?" Kory asked.

"I am Diya, this is Alexa." She said pointing to Lexi. "This is Gabriella and then her sister Ali." She continued pointing to us.

They transferred their hellos and then they talked for a little longer. Soon Ali calmed down enough and joined in on their conversation. I observed them all.

Conner has beautiful icy blue eyes and brown hair that slightly falls over his eyes. Freckles across his nose, and a dimple when he smiles on his left cheek. Cameron has blue eyes slightly darker than Conner's and light blonde hair with dark black roots. He seems like the more reserved type. Kory has dark brown eyes and hair. And he is the joker of the group. Jayden has blue eyes and semi light brown hair. He is kind of a softie when it comes to Fallen. And finally Fallen she has blonde hair with hazel eyes and freckles across her nose. And pearly white straight teeth.

"So, we actually need to head out now we all have practice and Jayden is taking Fallen home. So, I guess we will see you guys soon?" We nodded our heads and headed to our cars.

Conner's P.O.V

Gabriella was quiet. It made me want to get to know her more, she wasn't like the rest. She was quiet and observant. "Hey, do you guys know anything about Gabriella?" they all shook their heads no.

"She didn't talk at all; it was a little weird. I guess." Cameron said.

"I don't find it weird she was just being kept to herself." Fallen said.

"Ya, exactly." Jayden said as he wrapped his arms around Fallen's waist.

"When I looked into her eyes, I saw something that I cant explain." They just nodded their heads.

"Anyways, I invited them to my party tonight. You all are coming right?" We nodded our heads at Kory.

Ali tagged along with us in shopping. And I think its just what she needed, to be around people other than her own friends. We ran into the friend Olivia and she tagged along. All her other friends didn't seem very genuine. But Olivia she cared a lot about Ali.

Guys, can we please go eat already? They all gave me a 'are you serious' look.

"In a minute Gia." Di said.

You said that ten minutes ago. They groaned.

"Fine, lets go." Alexa said. I ran out of the store and to the food court. While they payed for their clothes.

I ordered my food and went to take a seat while I waited. The girls still weren't here yet. "Is this seat taken?" I looked up to see Fallen. I shook my head and she took a seat.

"So, where are all of your friends?" she asked as she set down her Cocoa Cloud Macchiato and her birthday cake pop.

They are supposed to be checking out and then coming here. She nodded.

You understand me? she nodded her head.

"My brother is deaf and so I learned ASL, are you deaf?" I shook my head.

"Mute" she nodded her head.

"Hey guys." Diya said as she sat down beside me, as well as setting my food down. "I grabbed your food from the counter. I nodded my head.

Thanks. They all started talking about some random stuff and I zoned out.

"Gia, Gia!" Alexa said waving her hand in front of my face.

What, sorry what are we talking about? They laughed at my reaction.

I scowled, "We were asking if you were coming to the party with us?" Fallen spoke up.

Um, I don't know. Parties and I don't really mix that well.

"Come on, you don't have to drink or anything." They all gave me pleading eyes.

Fine. They all squealed. I covered my ears.

Well, lets go get ready, shall we? They all nodded their heads and jumped up.

I threw away my trash and they grabbed their bags.
