Chapter Eight: You Dance (edited)
One month later
I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm. Why do I have this! I turn it off rubbing my eyes as I sit up. I slowly walk into my bathroom and investigate the mirror. Holy cow! My hair is like a birds nest was made overnight. I can hear the birds now.
Ignoring it I hopped in the shower. Once I was finished, I dried off and put extra effort in drying my hair. I washed my face and then wrapped a towel around me. Walking back into my bedroom and towards my closet I didn't see Diya and Alexa sitting on my bed. I stepped inside of my closet and took out some black leggings and a white muscle shirt. I grabbed a pair of all black adidas.
I jumped when I saw them. sitting there. They turned to see what that loud thud was. Yep you got it right it was me. "Are you okay Gia?" I nodded my head slowly standing up then remembering I was still only in a towel.
I ran to the bathroom and quickly changed. I brushed down my hair that wasn't so bad now. And walked out. Okay what are you guys doing here? They gave me a look.
"Gia you have dance today we said we would drive you. Remember?" Alexa said.
"Obviously not." Diya deadpanned with a tiny glimpse of joking. I widened my eyes and ran towards my closet. I grabbed my dance bag, and shoes. Then I ran back out.
Well lets go! They both stood up and we ran downstairs. I grabbed a piece of toast on my way out.

"Gabriella, I need to speak to you." Ms. Louise my dance instructor said to me.
I stopped stretching and walked up to her. Mam
She turned around, "Gabriella I need you to go help teach a young group of kids. She is a new dance teacher. And she knows what to say she just cant exactly demonstrate the moves." I nodded my head.
What is the age group? She looked down at her board.
"The age 5 to 6-year old." I nodded my head and started heading towards room 356.
I walked into the room and saw an older lady with her back turned to me setting in a CD in the player. She turned around after she heard the door close. "Oh you must be Gabriella." She said gently.
I nodded my head walking to her. She discussed what was going to happen and just when we finished around fifteen to twenty little girls bounced happily into the room. Their parents walking into the other room to observe from the window.
"Gabriella!" I turned around and was engulfed to a hug by no other than Ella.
Hi Ella. I didn't know you were in this class? She nodded her head.
"Conner told you I had dance today." I remember him saying that, but I didn't know that it was this studio. She ran off towards her friends and they started stretches.
After about fifteen minutes Mrs. B called their attention. "Alright girls, are yalls ready for today?" They all gave 'yes ma'am'. "Alright, Gabriella here will be demonstrating the moves okay." They all nodded their heads.
I put my shoes on while she talked to them. "Okay girls so first we are going to do a sous-sus." They all turned towards me and my toes of my front foot to meet the toes of my back foot. "Simple, as it gets girls." They copied my actions or tried to at least.
"Now lets do a tendu." I nodded my head as they turned towards me. I did it easily. "There you go girls, not try your best to do it. You don't have to get it today; we will work on it more." I observed the girls as they did it. Ella had great form. And once one girl toppled over, they fell onto another which led to that whole row falling.
