The girl above is Ella.
Chapter Six: Your our Guest! (edited)
It has been three days since the party, and I am sitting at the lunch table waiting for the girls to arrive. I haven't seen Conner or any of the other guys around school these past few days. I mean I think there here they are just kept to themselves. Fallen sits with us at lunch and I found out I share biology and history with her.
"Hey Gia." They all said as they set their plates down. I waved at them.
Have you guys seen Conner and the other guys lately? They stopped eating and looked up at me.
"I have seen Jayden but as for the other three. No, I haven't." I looked over at the rest of them and they shook their heads. I wonder where they all are.
"But, its nothing to worry about I don't think. They do this a lot. Disappear for a couple of days and then appear." She shrugged her shoulders popping a fry in her mouth.
Do you know where they go? She shook her head.
"I gave up on asking. Every time I do, they change the subject." I nodded my head. For the rest of the time they talked about Ms. Harrold. While I continued to wonder where the boys are.

"Mom we are home!" Ali yelled as we walked in through the door.
"In the kitchen girls!" she yelled back. We walked into the kitchen and were hit with the smell of burnt chicken.
Mom, you overcooked the chicken. A lot. She kept on fanning the chicken to try and stop the smoke a little.
"I know Gabriella. I tried to cook; we have guests coming over tonight." I inwardly groaned, when guests come over, they all stare at me because I don't speak. Mom tries to keep the conversation off me.
Mom, why didn't you just order something? Or just meet them at a restaurant. Every time you try to cook fancy this happens. She huffed once she got the smoke down.
"You know that they would rather eat a home cooked meal." Mom said as she opened windows to get the lingering smell out. "Plus, they are new clients, I want to make a good first impression."
We both nodded our heads and trudged upstairs to get some homework done before our guests arrived. I took a shower and then wrapped myself in a towel. Once I was finished drying my hair I walked into my closet. I pulled out a white blouse and some mom jeans. Then some white converse.

"Girls, come downstairs. The 'Gates' will be here any minute now." My mom called from downstairs. Just as I was walking down the doorbell rang. "Can one of you get that please?" My mom called from the kitchen.
I opened the door and was greeted by a tall lady. About 5'7. "Hello, I am Mrs. Gates. And you must be Ali." She said with a cheery voice.
"Actually, I am Ali, this is Gabriella." Ali said coming down the stairs. She nodded her head and walked in. Next came a taller broader man. He introduced himself and started for the kitchen. I was about to close the door when I heard someone clear their throat.
"Hey Gabriella, can we come in." I looked up opening the door back to see Conner and a little girl that had similar features as him.
Oh sorry, yes please come in. I felt this sudden feeling of relief that someone I knew was going to be here. They stepped in and I shut the door.
Who is this? as I leaned down to shake her hand.
"I am Ella." The little girl said proudly. I smiled at her.
"Ella, this is Gabriella. A friend of mine from school." Ella looked at me studying my face.
"Youre the girl my brother hasn't stop-" Conner covered her mouth
"Okay enough chit chat. Is dinner ready?" I nodded my head and led them to the dining room.
I continued to think about what Ella was saying. Conner was talking about me. I really hope it was a good thing and not a bad weird way....
I showed them a brief tour of our house and where the bathrooms were just in case, they needed to go. And then showed them to the dining room. Ella instantly started a conversation with me she is a very curious kid. I gave her short answers which somehow led her to asking questions that I would soon be forced to answer in a longer response.
Luckily mom came out with the food, or what was left of it... I helped Ella make her plate and mom get the drinks. Then we all sat down and started eating our food. It was quiet for a few minutes.
