Mickey and Ian walked inside the house, entering through the main entrance. Ian raised his eyebrows impressed by the house and décor. He'd never been in a house that was clean and just impressive. Mickey noticed him stopping and staring at the pictures that hung on the wall. Ian stopped at the picture of Mickey and Mandy as little kids.
"Yo." Mickey said getting his attention.
Ian turned to him, he mumbled a sorry. Mickey smiled and nodded towards the hall. They walked into the kitchen, bags in hands.
"Uh, you hungry or thirsty?" Mickey asked.
Mickey cursed to himself, did he really asked that. He couldn't decide if it was insulting or polite. By the way Ian shook his head, he figured it was polite.
Ian looked at him and smiled, "No I'm fine, thanks." That smile, Mickey thought.
He never thought a smile could be so beautiful, so perfect until he seen Ian's. It was something about Ian, that Mickey was falling for.
"So Geometry, right?" Ian asked as he sat down.
He pulled out his notebook and textbook. Mickey sat across him, he pulled out his notebooks as well. He noticed Ian had a different book from him. Mickeys was new and Ian's was tearing apart. He could see Ian look embarrassed about it but he opened the book before Mickey could say anything. He looked at Ian again, he wondered how old he was. Ian was very muscular and tall. He couldn't be a senior, or could he? Ian was staring down at his book when he caught Mickey staring at him. Ian hoped to god, that there was nothing on his face. He slowly turned around to figure out what Mickey was looking at.
"What?" Ian asked as he turned back to him.
"Oh nothing, I just-uh, what grade you in?" Mickey asked feeling the blush spread across his cheeks. Ian smiled and leaned on the table.
"Junior, I'm 16." He answered and Mickey raised his eyebrows.
"Really?" He asked and Ian frowned.
"What do you mean really? Yes, what about you?" He asked with a laugh.
"Oh just, you know, you look-" He said gesturing his had to Ian's body.
Ian smiled, "What? Hot?" He said and Mickey felt his heart drop to his stomach.
Mickey desperately wanted to say YES.
"What? No." Mickey said his voice breaking at the 'no' part.
He shook his head and Ian smiled, he just hummed in response.
"You're just full of yourself man." Mickey said as he pulled him papers closer to him.
"Yeah, I guess you can say that." Ian said, Mickey noticed the change in his voice.
Mickey was about to say another thing, until the sound of a door opening caught his attention. Ian looked up and Mickey turned around, he rolled his eyes seeing it was only Mandy. She had her phone in her hand and her headphones plugged in. Ian saw her and figured it was the girl from the picture.
"Oh." Mandy said noticing the two boys.
She walked in, "Hey Mickey, hey uh you?" She said and came to the table.
"Hi." Ian said and showed a smile.
Mickey almost melted at the sight. He could see Mandy raise her eyebrows as they shook hand.
"I'm Ian, Ian Gallagher." He introduced and she smiled.
"I'm Mandy." She said and turned to Mickey.
