it was hard for me to write this chapter, because it reminded me of myself , last year and how i let my feelings take control of me. I was inspired by another book for a certain part in this chapter.

Once you both disembarked at his apartment, you left out a sigh of relief. 

''Can you not fly so fast next time, Hawks'' you hissed

''Sorry, Sweetheart, but how about no.'' he replied opening the door to his apartment.

You two stepped into his semi-big apartment. 

Hawks took off his shoes and immediately went for his couch. You put your shoes beside his and walked over to his couch and awkwardly sat on the end.

''Y/N! You wanna watch a movie with me?''

''Sure, but i'll probably fall asleep half way through.'' you replied with a yawn, rubbing your eyes in the process.

''That's fine by me'' he replied giving you a small smile.

After a good 20 minutes into looking for movies, Hawks finally decided on a, well inappropriate movie.

Everything was fine between you two until that certain scene came along.

''Uh Hey Y/N... Do you wanna maybe.... cuddle..?''

''-W-w-W-what? U-uh s-sure I guess...'' you replied shyly, attempting to get the words out of your mouth.

You slowly laid down right beside him as he moved his hand and put it around your waist, pulling you closer too him. His head rested on yours, his arms around your waist, you couldn't help but feel loved. 

You've felt love before, but not this kind. 

Everything just felt right for a second, but you just weren't ready for something like this.

''Y/N, are you alright you look like your staring off into space..?'' Hawks asked suddenly, cutting you off from your daydreaming  

''U-Um I'm f-fine'' You retorted with a small blush on your cheeks.

''Look, it's fine if you don't wanna cuddle with me.'' Hawks said with a sad look on his face.

''No.. I do, it's just I meet you a day ago..'' you replied

''O-Oh I didn't know you felt that way..'' Hawks said, his maroon wings drooping a little, as he got up from the couch and started down the hallway.

Without thinking, you immediately went after him, embracing him with a warm hug.

''Hawks. I like you, It's just, I wanna know you so much better than I do now, I may not know much about love and relationships, But I do for a fact, know that I deeply care about you, and I do love you.'' you exclaimed pulling away from the hug first.

''Y-You do?'' He answered.

''For sure.'' you replied in a calming voice to reassure him everything was going to be alright. 

There was a awkward moment of silence for a second. When Hawks suddenly took your hand into his.

''So...... How about we go out next Tuesday'' He exclaimed breaking the awkward silence, his cheery, cocky and happy attitude returning.

''Why not.'' you responded a little awkwardly, giving him a small smile.

''Awww! I knew you couldn't resist me'' Hawks said as he started tickling your sides uncontrollably. 

''S-Stop!'' you hissed in between breaths trying to control your laughter.

''Alright, lets go back to the couch and finish the movie'' He stated taking his hand in yours and guiding you back to the couch.

You two fell asleep on the opposite sides of the couch, sleeping soundly.
