- (y/n)'s pov -

A soft knock erupted from the door, but I didn't give any answer.

I wasn't tired, I was just a little upset. Upset about my situation and how unfortunate it was. But I wasn't pitying myself. No, I deserved it. But I didn't want to lose the first friend I've ever made.

Sebastian came through lightly peeking through the door, then came in with a tray of tea. "Miss (y/n)? Are you awake?" He asked in a lowered voice, setting the tea on the nightstand beside me like normally.

I'm surprised I've gotten used to how "normal" is for me now, at least for this portion of my life I've spent.

"Miss (y/n)?" Sebastian repeated.

I hummed in response while my head resting on the pillow, a blanket pulled over my head. I only heared a light chuckle from the butler.

"My master is about to be out on a business run in a moment, and I will go along with him."

"... But won't I be alone then?" I quietly said, peeking out from under the blanket.

"Not completely. We have our four other servants here that I'm sure they'd love to meet you." Sebastian gave a closed eye smile, putting his hand out for me to grab.I slowly but surely took his hand, and got out of bed, slowly placing my feet on the floor.

"I have placed a dress I'd thought you'd take a liking to for you to get ready. Ciel and I will be heading out now, so once you are done I am sure you will be able to find or be found by one of the other servants." The butler explained, taking the tea cart out once more.

"Sebastian?" I said, looking at his piercing red eyes. "Thank you."

I guess this might be a formal goodbye, since Ciel will send me back to my father, and he'll either use me as a pawn again or kill me I thought to myself.

Sebastian smiled once more, but this time it had seemed a little more realistic. "If I were not able to do such thing, then what kind of a butler would I be?"

He shut the door behind him, leaving me alone again. I looked the vaccinate chair with a cute lolita dress neatly placed with white stocking beside it.

Sebastian advised before that I probably shouldn't wear any type of shoes until my foot was completely healed, so I saw this as an opportunity to have fun trying to slide on the marble floors.

I might as well try, because what more do I have to lose?

I excitedly got ready for the day and went down the long grand stairs, faster than when I first came down the same stairs with Ciel not long ago.

Right when I reached the last few stairs, I slipped a little, tumbling down the last steps. I braced myself expecting to hit the hard floor, but it never did. I opened my eyes and the blonde boy I saw in the garden held me in his arms.

I immediately felt a light blush arise from my cheeks, as his did the exact same.

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean anything I just saw you fall and I didn't want you to get hurt!" He squeaked, helping me back up.

"N-No it's alright, it was quite foolish of me to not be careful enough." I said, looking at my feet.

Suddenly a burst of a lady with wine red hair and a maid's outfit on ran in, quickly shifting her gaze around the room, suddenly stopping at the boy and I. "Finny are you alright?!" She asked, rushing over to him, then shifting her eyes to me.
