previously on poker face:
"I guess that would be odd." I laughed. "But back to the casino, it would be smart to find out which territories my relatives do not own, including my father. I uh, thought it might be helpful to get a head start before others realize you've entered the game." I shrunk back in my chair a little, hoping Ciel nor Sebastian would get upset with me.
Ciel shrugged "Might as well. You know this game better than all of us."
"R-Really?! You're not mad? Thank you!" I said, reaching Ciel's hand from over the desk. "To start getting ready, I need to prepare you."
"Prepare me for what?" He asked, rather confused.
"Why, to acompany the Queen of Hearts on her appearance!"

"...Huh?"
"Well I can't just go to the casino by myself and win as (y/n) (l/n), now can I? Plus, the power I hold requires to show an appearance every now and then." I sat back, putting my cold hand to my cheek.
"So since I know you did your research on "the Queen of Hearts", you know almost exactly what I do?"
"That is correct, my lady." Sebastian replied, nodding his head.
"Oh goodie!" I said, clapping my hands. "So what exactly are you wanting from us?" Ciel asked, raising his brow.
"Sebastian, where do you keep all your dresses and suits?" I asked, trying to be ever so innocent.
"Down the hall, to the left." He replied, as sharp as usual.
"Great! Come on Ciel, we need to get ready!" I stood up from my chair, and walked out casually. Not long after Ciel and Sebastian trailed behind me to the destination. I flipped around the face Ciel as we walked.
"Aren't you excited?" I asked enthusiastically.
"Of course." Ciel responded rolling his eyes. I kept walking backwards more focused on Ciel rather then walking. My heart dropped a second as I started to fall backwards without realizing it. Without a moment to say anything, Ciel caught me by the hand and his arm around my back.
"Are you alright?" He asked, with a look of "I told you so".
"Yeah, I just lost my footing." I brushed off laughing. Ciel helped me back up, only to turn to Sebastian who was holding a knob of the door beside us, and opened it.
Taking Ciel's hand, I walked in and gaped at all the dresses. "Have you never seen this many dresses before?" Ciel remarked with annoyance.
"Never." I breathed, not taking my eyes off the dresses. "You're a noble. What, did you grow up in a cell?" He spat, his frustration showing clearer than ever.
I looked at the ground, staying silent. I couldn't just admit a "noble" such as myself actually grew up in a cage underneath my mansion.
"(y/n)-" Ciel started, but I already moved past the awkward silence. "Quiz time! What color does The Queen of Hearts wear?" I asked, leaning toward Ciel and Sebastian with my hands behind my back.
"Why, I believe it's almost a crimson red." Sebastian stated.
"Bingo! Which means Ciel will need a red outfit to pair with mine." I stated, pointing to some of the outfits.
"Why isn't what I'm wearing suitable?" Ciel asked, flicking his hand from his outfit to me.
"Well since if you are escorting me, it's only suitable to fit the aesthetic." I explained to the young noble. "Sebastian, if you were to pick some dresses from me to choose from, I'm sure I can pick something for Ciel to wear that's appropriate to wear with my dress." I smiled, taking Ciel with me.
