The carriage ride back to the manor was unnervingly quiet. Both the earl and the queen knew that the conversation later needed mental preparing; at least this was only necessary for one. (y/n) kept the blunette's hand in hers the whole ride to the estate, not giving a second thought about the world around her. Her mind was focused on other important matters, such as the argument she ran through her head with Ciel. Every bad case scenario played out from her getting kicked out of the estate entirely to getting killed. The imagination of the young girl ran wild, letting any possibility play through.

The carriage came to a stop, letting Sebastian get out of the driver's seat to open the door. Without any warning, Ciel got out of the carriage, swiping his hand away for the girl on the floorboard. Lost in thought, she sat there still, keeping her eyes down casted in front of her. As the earl disappeared from view, the butler held out his hand. "My lady?"

- (y/n)'s pov -

"W-What?" I brought myself back into reality in which I didn't know I was out of. Sebastian kept his hand out toward me, offering for me to take it. Taking his hand, I got up off the floor and out of the carriage. I watched his appearance change from his normal resting face to an unsettled expression.

He sighed, looking down at me. "We'll have to fix you up I suppose."

We walked into the lonesome manor to find no one awaiting us. It didn't surprise me, but it released a bit of anxiousness in me knowing no one other than Sebastian and Ciel had seen me in my state.

Walking up to my room, Sebastian excused himself to fetch the medical supplies to treat me. Looking in the mirror, I grimaced at my appearence. My dress was dirtied with blood and other stains, and have tears from the bottom of the dress up. The wound in my arm looked rather atrocious, but nothing Sebastian couldn't fix. My eyes rolled to up my shoulder, to my neck which held a dark purple stain in my skin. I felt tears in the back of my eyes as I placed a hand over the bruise left. I was deeply disturbed by the events of the night. I tried focusing on something over than my neck as I laid my hand over my cheek. Somehow throughout the night my makeup had stayed mostly in tact, except my lipstick being smeared a bit.

I walked over to my bathroom without looking in the mirror, knowing I'd upset myself even further by looking into it. Turning on the faucet, I splashed the cold water in my face trying to remove the access makeup off that was left on. The white hand towel laid at my side as I patted my face dry, only to hear a knock from the door.

Giving a sign for permission of coming in, the expected butler walked in with the mentioned kit in hand. Waving a hand to let me take a seat on the bed, I did as told as the butler sat next to me. He cleaned the bullet wound in my arm before digging into the kit once more. He pulled out some type of needle and thread only to look down at me.

"I will have to stitch your arm back up." He explained, preparing the supplies. "I apologize for the pain you will experience, my lady."

I only nodded in response, squinting my eyes together as he sewed up my arm. It was quite painful, and twas not easy to hide it either. After it being done, he rapped my arm up in bandages before taking his hands in mine. He examined the cuts along my wrist that I temporarily forgot about. Sebastian also cleaned and wrapped my wrists, leaving white bandages wrapped around my wrists and arm now.

"I suggest you get out of that dress my lady, and prepare for bed." He got off the bed from my side, reliving the dip in the bed from his weight. Walking into the closet, he picked out a night gown and laid it beside me. "Would you like any assistance?"

"No thank you." I smiled slightly, taking the gown in my hands. The tall butler did his usual ninety degree bow before leaving, clicking the door shut behind him. Getting undressed from my dirtied dress to my clean one, I walked to the door, twisting the brass doorknob quietly. Peeking out, I saw Sebastian waiting beside my door looking down at me.

"Would you like me to tuck you in?" He smiled with his eyes closed, tilting his head to the side a little.

"N-No. I just wanted to ask if you could please tell Ciel that we can converse tomorrow? A-And not from me." I quickly replied.

"Of course my lady. Now let us get you to bed for your day tomorrow."
