"Hey, Sky! You listening?"I hear Jack say.
"Wha...what?" I asked. I had no idea what he was saying. Had he been talking the entire time? I'm too didtracted. No way, I've never been that distracted before. Grayson's doing something weird to my mind.
"I was talking about that Grayson guy. He seems nice. And Ella looks H.O.T." Jack said emphasising "hot".
I laughed. It was so typical of him to point out a hot girl. He loves to flirt,Jack, but he's never broken a girls heart. He's a gentleman.But... he can be really annoying.
We went into me hpuse and sat at the treehouse in the middle of the bridge. He read a book and I just lay down staring at the ceiling.
"Do you like Grayson?"Jack finlly asked. I was stunned , I didn't know the answer myself. Was I lying to myself by saying "No"?
"No." The words came out by themselves, but I knew they weren't true.
"Mkay."Jack said coolly."Do you think I stand a chance with Ella?"
I facepalmed."A girl like her probably has one already."
"I should at least try..."
"I don't think you should."
"But what if-"
"No."
"But maybe-"
"No."
"I'm going to try anyways."
"Suit yourself."

Grayson's POV
We hed exchanged numbers yesterday and had agreed to meet for breakfast today. I couldn't wait to see Sky. Ella and I arrived first. We waited for awhile before I saw them arrive from the corner of my mind. Jack was wearing a denim jacket with the sleeves rolled up, a white t-shirt inside with dark blue denim jeans with sneakers. And Sky, Sky looked stunning. She was wearing an off shoulder crop top with a mini skirt, a choker, and a pair of puma sneakers.

Jack was looking at Ella weirdly. And then Sky hit his arm.Ok... nothing weird going on nope.They walked over and sat down. We ordered and talked while the food was being prepared.
"So... what are you guys up to?" I asked them.
"Nothing much."Jack replied still looking at Ella.
"Jack. Cut. It. Out." Sky said elbowing him in the arm.Ok...
"So Jack, got any girlfriends?"Ella asked. "How bout you Sky? Anyone special?"
"Im single."Sky said "And Jack is too." She said when Jack looked like he was about to open his mouth to speak.
At least now you know she's not taken, you can make a move. Ella said sending her thoughts to me.
Shut up. I replied.
"You know we have a friend that will be coming in three days. His name is Kyle." I said.
"Is he single too?" Jack asked.
"Yes." Ella replied.
"We should form a squad how about we call ourselves "The Single Squad"." Sky said jokingly. We all laughed.
Suddenly, my head felt like it was on fire. I held it with both hands and looked at Ella. She too had a look of pain. Then we heard a voice that no one should ever hear - the voice of the Lord Of the Underworld. He only speaks to the spirits when the world is in mortal danger. And the voice said:
"The beast is awakening. Wherever you are , the Mortal World or the Underworld, be prepared to fight."
