"Yeah, I got this."

As soon as those words slipped out of Jaiana's mouth, she regretted it. She wanted to curl up and die right then and there, but she knew she couldn't.

As Harmony walked up to them (seemingly in slow motion to Jaiana), Jaiana studied how Harmony looked. Way better than she'd ever studied for any test.

Right now, it was obvious to Jaiana: Harmony wasn't happy. Her eyebrows were slightly down, her eyes were narrowed, glaring. The silver in her eyes seemed to darken a little. The way she was walking a little fast, sort of swinging her hips oddly (since she wasn't used to it), to show dominance, with her fists a little clenched together. Her white-blonde, straight, shiny hair flowing behind her, and her lips.... Her lips weren't frowning, but they were more... Serious. She didn't have the smile she just had awhile back.

Jaiana's gaze switched between looking at Harmony's lips and eyes. Harmony's lips looked to be so soft and.. Jaiana snapped herself out of it and looked into Harmony's eyes as she went up to her.

Harmony got a little close. "Why would you thay that?" Jaiana hesitated just a bit. One, it's her crush. Second, she's close to her.

Jaiana pushed Harmony away, making her fall on the ground. Jaiana already felt the guilt creeping up her back.
" 'Why would you THay that'," Jaiana mocked. "I was just saying the truth. He should know his place, and so should you. You think you can stand up to me? Hah. White-ass bitch, get the hell out of here. Unless you want me to call you out."

Harmony felt her throat close up, anger, sadness, and fear filling up in her. She felt her breath become shakey and she trembled a bit. Harmony felt the temperature contrast between the tears on her face, and the coldness she just got.

"H-How would you call me out? You don't know me!"

"Girl's got some shit, but not for long," S'niya decided to comment, snickering. Riley let out a little giggle before making a little hand motion towards S'niya. S'niya plopped a grape in Riley's mouth and she gladly ate it, smiling.

Jaiana went up to Harmony -who was slowly getting up- bent down, and grabbed her by the hair, then pulled it. Harmony let out a squeak and ended up on her knees, looking up at Jaiana. More tears went down Harmony's face. Jaiana wanted to let go and hug Harmony badly, but everyone was watching. Jaiana slowly put her mouth near Harmony's ear (and licked it. Jk), and whispered:

"After school, me and you."

"But-"

Jaiana interrupted her. "After. School. The back." Jaiana tugged Harmony's hair down and let go of it. Harmony scrambled up, and quickly walk away.

Now Harmony was clearly flustered, embarrassed, and sad. She walked away quicker then before, her arms wrapped around herself as if she was hugging air. Her red face, and eyes watery, filled with tears. Her eyebrows were still down, but more in a sadder way. Her straight hair a little messy, near where Jaiana had grabbed it. It was all Jaiana's fault.

Jaiana had a little concern on her face, but everyone around the trio started cheering. Jaiana quickly plastered a smile on her face. "Yeah, yeah. It was nothing. Just letting the loser know where her place is."

Jaiana walked back to the table, and Riley stopped laying on S'niya.

"Good job, Jaiana."

S'niya nodded. "You cancelled a test AND told off two big losers."

"Thanks!" Jaiana put a bigger smile on her face, even though it's fake. Jaiana liked the praise she got, if she hadn't gotten it, she would've killed herself by now. She wrapped her arm around her two only closest friends. They were friends with her because she was popular, but they were still good.

For the rest of lunch, they laughed, chatted, gossipped.

The rest of school was uneventful, just Jaiana being her classic-rude self. Jaiana was very distracted, though. She kept thinking about the threat to Harmony she made, the meet up. How sad she made Harmony feel hung over her, the guilt still not going away after all the praise.

But now was the time she had to meet with Harmony at the back of the school, if she even shows up. Jaiana's heart thudded against her chest again as she peeked around to see Harmony.

Jaiana decided to take the time to stare at her for a bit, biting her lip. The sun made Harmony's white long hair seem to light up more, along with her silver blue-ish eyes. After a bit of staring, Jaiana took a deep breath and walked up to Harmony. Right when Harmony saw Jaiana, she flinched. Now that hurt Jaiana, knowing Harmony was scared of her. Jaiana expected it though, the most popular kid asks you to go to the back of the school after embarrassing you in front of the whole school.

"Wh-why did you call me back here?" Harmony questioned.

Jaiana looked down, fidgeting with her fingers. She needed to tell Harmony the truth about how she felt. Jaiana looked back at Harmony and cleared her throat. Even that made Harmony flinch.

"I want- need... to tell you something. About me," Jaiana admitted.

Harmony's face turned concerned and confused. "A-About you? Why me?"

Jaiana gulped and took a deep breath, her face turning a little red at the thought of saying it. Jaiana stepped a little closer to Harmony. Harmony was going to flinch, but stopped herself.

Harmony's heart was pounding. The most popular kid is going to tell her, the biggest loser, something important about themselves. She was excited, but also scared for what it would be. She looked down, not wanting to make eye contact.

Jaiana pushed Harmony's chin up to look at her, moved Harmony's white hair out of her face, and caressed Harmony's cheek, slowly rubbing it with her thumb. She smiled at her.

"Harmony Krane, I..." She paused, "I love you... A lot."

Harmony's eyes widened and blush spread across her face. She took a step back and took a moment to collect herself.

Jaiana prepared herself for what Harmony would say. She didn't think this would ever happen, but it did.

She thought this was going to end well.

Wrong.
