The not-so-thankfully part was that...

Jaiana's mom was drunk.

"Oh, hi Grace," Jaiana's voice was a little shakey saying that. She didn't like calling her mom, "mom".

"Why are you back ladder than usual???" Grace questioned, Jaiana usually gets home at 1:30 PM... It's 1:38 PM.

"Don't you mean later-" Jaiana's statement got caught off by her mother slapping her across the face, leaving a red mark. Jaiana flinched and shrunk down.

Grace growled. "Don't correct me bitch! I know how to English myself."

"R-Right... Sorry, Grace."

"You better be, if you gOod what's know for you." Jaiana took the time to think about what her mom meant, realizing she switched 'good' and 'know' in the sentence. Jaiana silently nodded. Her mom grabbed her by the shirt and dragged her to the kitchen.

"Go make some food. I'm hUngry. Along with more alcOhol," Jaiana's mom ordered.

"Alright, Alright, Grace."

"Make chickeeeen."

Jaiana sighed and rolled her eyes,  "I will."

Grace glared at Jaiana. "Don't sigh or roll your eyes at me. If you roll your eyes, I promise I'll rip them out of your head."

"What, now I can't breathe or look?" Jaiana was so used to having an attitude, but always regretted it with her mom. She knew her mom would actually do the things she said, and that scared her. Grace walked up to Jaiana and pushed her onto the ground.

"Just food tHe fucking mAke-" Grace said, kicking Jaiana and stomping off. Jaiana sighed and got up, brushing herself off. Her phone dinged. It was from Twitter, but she decided to check it after she cooked.

Basically what happened is that Jaiana was forced to cook after seeing her mom drunk.
~~~~~~~~~
Jaiana's self esteem is always low because of her mom. Her step-dad is never really there since all he does is work. Her mom is literally crap and it's why Jaiana enjoys praise at school. She knows she deserves better than how her mom treats her. She doesn't really have a good role model.
Jaiana ran upstairs after she finished eating and slammed the door to her room, crashing into her bed. She took her phone to check her Twitter.
Riley and S'niya tagged her about something. Jaiana hummed to herself as she clicked on the notification.
Holy shit guys!!! @Xx_Jaianaaa_xX is DEAD! GUESS SHE WANTS TO BE A LOSER TOO! PLEASE SPREAD THIS AROUND!
-video-
Jaiana became worried. She clicked on the video. There it was. Her confessing to Harmony, being called out, and being rejected. Holy shit Jaiana was freaking out.
~~~~~~~~~

Riley and S'niya walked into Riley's house. The floor creaked as they walked in, so it was impossible for them to not be noticed  by Riley's mom or dad.

"Guys, I brought S'niya over!" Riley yelled, dragging S'niya by the hand upstairs.

"Alright, is she staying for dinner?" Riley's mom asked.

"I'm fine, Shanon. But thaaaanks!" S'niya said as Riley shut the door to her room. They both quickly whipped out their phones and checked on the video.

The video had 3k views and 2.5k likes. That was HUGE to them. It was the most they've ever gotten and it's because it was about Jaiana.

"Jaiana's gonna FLIP!" Riley yelled, S'niya nodding in agreement.

"Definitely!"

Riley was planning on becoming the next popular one once she got Jaiana down. She wouldn't do anything bad to S'niya, though. They were... Close. Close as in S'niya gave a kiss on the cheek to Riley and smiled.

"No homo."

Riley chuckled and she blushed, pushing her red hair out of her face. "Sure. Whatever you say, S'niya."

Harmony got home, but she went to the back to put her bike away. She went in through the back door, and her dog went up to her. Harmony smiled and picked them up.

"Hey Oliver!" (EmmaDispigna, there-) Harmony said, scratching behind their ear. Oliver made a tiny bark at their name as Harmony set them back down.

"Dadth? I'm home!" Harmony yelled, and her two dads went up to her to give her a hug.

"Hey, Harmony!" Ein and Daniel said, glad to see her.

"How was school?" Daniel asked, looking at Harmony like he actually cared. Ein nodded at Harmony, like he was meaning to ask the same question with the same expression. Caring. Harmony wished everyone looked at her like that, or at least one good person at school.

Harmony sighed. "It wath.... Eh." As soon as Harmony said that, her dads expressions turned worried.

"You can tell us things, Harmony. It's all right, we don't bite!"

"What you did last night proves other words~" Daniel stated, winking at Ein. Ein blushed. Harmony had a blank expression on her face, then sighed.

"He'th right, I heard it." Then both of their faces turned red.

"You heard it? You- Um, you weren't sleeping at that time?" Ein asked, twirling his black curly hair on his finger. It was long enough to do that, but it wasn't TOO long. His skin wasn't white but it was... A light tan color.

"Excuthe- Pfft- How could I thleep with how loud you two were?"

"... Fair point, Daniel was loud."

"HEy-"

"What I was saying before is, you don't have to be scared to tell us things. We're here for you," Ein said, putting his hand on Harmony's shoulder. Harmony shuffled away.

"Yeah, yeah. I know."

Daniel lightly gasped. "How about we play Monopoly???"

"Now?" Ein asked, Daniel nodding.

"Why not, I'll get the thet!" Harmony said, already getting it. Her two dads smiled and they sat on the floor. Oliver sat on Harmony's lap, and with that; they all started playing.
