"I know only one who could save your friend's life. He is Azure Lucario."
"Azure?" Evie asked, trying to place the name. "Wait, you mean Azure as in Kin's father?"
"This is Azure's boy?" Delis asked confused.
"Yep." Soul nodded. "I'm certain."
"I had no idea," Gardevoir said.
"Really? I thought you knew!" Soul exclaimed.
Delis returned everyone's attention to the matter at hand. "It doesn't change anything. We still need to find Azure. Wherever Azure is Ember will be. Then, maybe we can finally get some answers."
"Get some answers? What do you mean?"
"I'll explain on the way. Now then, all we have to do is deduce where Azure and Ember are. Hm. Soul, where did you find that bottle? Point at it on the map."
"Here," Soul said, as she pointed at the beach near Tranquil Town.
"Ah, I see. If it was on the beach, then it was likely carried there by the ocean currents. So, if we trace the currents backwards..." Delis trailed off as he drew his hand along the map seemingly following an invisible line. "There. Dakar town. Across the sea."
"Across the sea? How do we get there?" Evie asked.
"Already taken care of. You three should head out immediately. Go to the docks and ask for Lyla. Tell her Sarah sent you. Find Azure and Ember. Bring them back here. I'll stay and take care of Kin," Gardevoir said.
Delis walked towards his wife and took her hands in his. "I missed you. When this is all over, you and I are taking a vacation."
"I've heard that before."
"Technically, I never broke that promise. Since this was never solved I never owed you that vacation. Now I'm merely reiterating that you owe me a vacation."
"I owe you a vacation?"
"Glad we see it the same way. Bye. Love you." Delis pecked Gardevoir on the cheek and promptly left the room.
Evie and Soul shared a look before running after him. Delis walked fast and the little Eevee and Snivy had to jog to keep up.
"Delis! Can you slow down a little?" Soul called.
"No."
Soul rolled her eyes and struggled after the Gallade. At the edge of town, rivers fed by nearby waterfalls flowed out into the sea. A stone jetty stretched out over the water. At the end of the jetty a Pelipper stood.
"Excuse me good Pelipper," Delis called.
"Yes, what can I do for you?" Pelipper replied.
"We're looking for Lyla."
"Oh, that's easy." Pelipper inhaled deeply and faced the ocean. "Lyla!" He bellowed.
His voice carried across the ocean and faded into the distance. After a dramatic wait nothing happened, but Pelipper seemed satisfied. "Here she comes," he said.
Evie, Soul and Delis all looked for what Pelipper was seeing but whatever it was, they couldn't find it. Suddenly, water shot skyward as an enormous Pokémon burst out from under-water. A Wailord floated beside the dock and offered them a massive, toothy smile.
"Hello all. What can I do for you?"
Delis chuckled as he stepped forward. 'Sarah really is something else,' he thought. "Lyla?"
"That's me."
"We need a lift to Dakar Town. The Gardevoir named Sarah sent us."
"No problem. Get on."
