Finn P.O.V

Walking into one of my first auditions for a big part is so nerve wracking, honestly, I have had a few parts before this but in small adverts or parts in music videos or even small parts on tv shows and movies, but that's it, i have never auditioned for a main role before. I'm auditioning for a one of the main characters: Mike Wheeler, in Stranger things, I'm not sure if it's going to do well at all, but i mean it's worth it even if it's not, it will be a good experience, working with people similar to my age, god I hope we all get along well.

I'm waiting in the waiting room, the audition went well, I guess, everyone looks so nervous, they people home, but there are still a lot of other people here, so I must have done well if I'm still here. They said what they are doing now is trying all the Mike's with all the Eleven's to see how they work together, I can feel my anxiety building up, I don't like meeting new people, especially when their first impression of you is in an audition room, I'm so nervous.

"Finn wolfhard, please come to audition room 3," a male voice boomed throughout the waiting room. Here we go.

I reach the waiting room, and standing there is a girl, she was beautiful: her long brunette wavy hair flowing half way down her back, and her beautiful hazel eyes, a hint of nervousness in her caught my full attention, and I just stared at her, I couldn't help it. She was pretty, really pretty, I know thats a line from the script, but honestly she was.

We went through the lines, trying as hard as I could to get the part, and I really hoped she would get the part, we finished and we were both sent out of the room but through different doors. I tried to find her in the waiting but the Elevens must have a different waiting room. I didn't even catch her name.

I get home and just go on instagram for about an hour, when I hear my mum shout,

"FINNNNN,"

"FINNNN,"

"FINN," she continued to shout, becoming impatient, I groaned as I climbed up of my bed and down to her, she was on the phone,

"It's for you,"

"Who is it?" I asked, she blatantly ignored me and just gave me the phone,

"Hello?" I greeted the person on the phone,

"Hi Finn, this is Shawn Levy, one of the stranger things producers, I was calling to tell you that you got the part as Mike Wheeler. We are going to have a cast reading and get together, so everyone gets to know each other and meet the rest of the cast, we are filming in Atlanta, and everyone is staying in a condo, that they are sharing with another caste mate. And don't worry about flights and paying for your condo, everything is prepaid and your flight to atlanta is on the 5th November." He explained, as I tried to process the fact that i go the part.

"Thank you, thank you so much, i cant wait and thank you again. See you soon. Bye." I said, words just coming out of my mouth, I tried to keep calm, it didn't really work.

"Mum, mum, mum, mum"

"Mum"

"MUMMM" I shouted probably louder than i thought, she appeared through the door,

"What?" she asked, really confused,

"I got the part, we have a flight booked for the 5th November, for a cast meeting and stuff, but I can't believe I even got the part!" I explained, still shouting.

"Oh my god, congratulations Finn, I'm so proud of you, so we have a week before we go,"She exclaimed, "let's go out to dinner, to celebrate,"she said

"Ok,"

In Atlanta

I was so excited, I was shaking, not sure if it was the venti coffee I had, or excitement, to be honest, I think it's a bit of both.

"Finn calm down," my mum said, i tried, it only worked a bit.

I went into the building and I met up with shawn he directed me to my condo, the door was already open, my roommate must already be in there, i walked in, they had their back to be, it was a girl, i could tell, she must be playing eleven, she was wearing full length dungarees and a plain white top, and was wearing a beanie.

"Hi," i said, i must have scared her as she jumped, and turned to me, that's when her saw her. Her beautiful face, her beautiful smile and her beautiful eyes, this time they weren't full of nervousness, they looked kind and gentle, her hair was gone, but i didn't even notice that, she still looked pretty, really pretty.

"Hi, I'm Millie, playing eleven," she introduced herself, her thick beautiful british accent strong as she spoke, in the audition she sounded american, but this accent made her even more beautiful.

"I'm Finn, I'm playing Mike, I remember you from the audition, you were really good, and I actually thought you were american," I said as I introduced myself, trying to my rush of emotions,

"Oh yeah, i remember you, you were the last mike i auditioned with, i remember tell the duffers that i felt more chemistry with you, more than all the other boys, that was the last day I had with my long hair," she explained feeling her buzz cut,

"I still think you look nice," I said, mentally slapping myself,

"Thanks" she replied and blushed causing me to blush. We continued to unpack and get to know each other. If i have to endure these feelings any longer, I might die.

Millie P.O.V

Of course i remember him, not just because he was the last boy I auditioned with, because it's the most chemistry i have felt with anyone before, and he looked so kind. Getting to know him for the first time: made me realise we are going to be amazing friends, but i know i want it to be more.

Authors note: This chapter kind of dragged on, but I didn't really know what was going on, in my head it all sounds really goo, but I don't really know how to write it all down, I have got so many ideas, but I can't put it all down. It will get better, I promise. Thanks for reading XXXXXXX.
