Chapter Thirty

After my talk with Rocky I don't feel like hanging around here anymore. I'm not angry at Laura or Rocky, I just need some space. I'm going to the one place I can vent everything out.

I took my car because it would be a bit far to walk. I arrive at my destination and I get out my car. I walk up to the door. I knock and wait for them to answer.

"Ross?"

"Hey, Becca." I great her.

"What are you doing here? Noah's not here if your looking for him." Becca gets angry when see mentions me looking for Noah.

"Sorry about that. I couldn't help seeing Laura so upset. You have to admit that was wrong of him to do." I apologise while looking down avoiding making eye contact with Becca.

"Yes trust me I know it was the wrong thing to do and he knows that now as well." Becca tells me.

"Well where is he then anyway?" I ask.

"He went to get us dinner, he'll be back soon." Becca says while looking at a clock inside her apartment.

"Right dinner. I can come back later if you want-" I speak before Becca cuts me off.

"Don't be silly come in, you're always welcome." She hugs me then walks in leaving the door open for me to come in.

She sits down on one of her couches. I sit down on the one across from hers.

"So what brings you here?" Becca asks.

"I just needed someone to talk to, besides from my family." I reply.

"So what's going on in that head of yours." Becca asks while getting comfortable.

I start explaining everything to her. Becca's someone I can always go to. It's weird but we understand each other. We never talked like this when we dated, maybe if we did it might of worked out. Actually no, I'm glad we stopped dating. Besides I'm with Laura now. If this whole thing with Noah didn't happen I wouldn't be with Laura so I'm guess I'm grateful for that.

Becca and I were in the middle of taking when there was a knock at the door.

"That will probably be Noah with the food." Becca reminds me.

"Let me answer that for you." I smirk.

"Ross, be nice" Becca warns.

I answer the door and Noah looks shocked at first because I was not who he was expecting. Then he starts to look worried.

"Ross, what are you doing here?" Noah asks nervously.

"Don't worry, I came to see Becca. Just so you know I still don't like what you did." I tell Noah.

"And I am so sorry about that, I just-" Noah starts speaking.

"I'm not the person you want to say that too." I cut him off.

Noah and I walk over to Becca.

"Ross would you like to stay for dinner?" Becca asks me.

"Are you sure?" I say.

"Yeah, we always order too much food anyway. I think it will be nice for us all to catch up anyway." Becca smiles.

I look over Noah's way then to Becca's.

"Sure why not." I smile back.

Over dinner all of us talk and Noah and I get to know each other. I hate to say this but he actually seems like an alright guy. We get along and I think we could possibly be friends, which surprised me. I thought I would never be friends with him.

"I'll let you two continue talking." Noah says before walking off.

"Okay I see why you wanted to be with Noah now." I tell Becca.

"See he's not a bad guy, he just did something stupid." She replies.

"I guess I don't hate him as much as I did before." I roll my eyes playfully.

Becca laughs.

"So going back to what you were saying before. I don't think you have anything to worry about." She continues our conversation.

"It's not that I'm worried. I don't know, I feel weird about this whole thing. I feel like I'm the only one making a big deal about it. Am I overreacting? What if I never get over it? I want to be with Laura and I don't want that stopping me." I tell Becca.

"Have you talked to Laura about it properly? She asks.

"Well no not exactly." I reply.

"You have to talk to her. That's one of the reasons you two broke up, isn't it? I mean look at Rocky and Laura they didn't talk and now look at them. They can barely be in the same room. That will happen to you if you don't talk to her. I would hate to see things not work out with you and Laura, I think you're right for each other. I think once you get everything out in the open with her and Rocky you will feel much better about this whole situation, and I don't think you are overreacting." Becca tells me.

Thanks Becca, you're right." I thank her.

I go over to Becca and hug her as another thanks.

"Well I better get going, but we'll catch up soon." I say while starting to walk out the door.

"Are you leaving?" Noah asks.

"Yeah I've got to head back home but I'll see you and Becca soon?" I ask but it came out more like a statement than a question.

"Yeah definitely." Noah replies for both of them.

"See ya." I wave and leave.

I look at my phone and it's almost 8pm. Wow did I really stay there for that long? I have some missed calls from Rocky and Laura, but I'll see Rocky at home and I'll ring Laura back later.

When I get home I see another car parked out the front of our house. I can't see whose it is though because it was dark. I walk through the door and see a familiar face sitting there with Rocky.

"Laura?"

I finally have internet again! It's been like nine days since it went out. Now that I have it though I thought I should post a chapter!
