knock knock
It took a while but after a while Daniel finally came downstairs. He opened the door and he was surprised to see me.
"Hey" I say
"Uh hey" He responds awkwardly
"Um can I come in? We need to talk, like actually this time" I hesitantly ask
"Yeah sure" He says and steps to the side letting me walk in and closing the door. I sat on the couch in the living room and he sat next to me keeping his distance.
"So I talked to Corbyn" I start and that gets his attention "And he told me what happened and now I get why you would be upset" I say and
pause waiting to see if he was gonna say
anything but he didn't. "I know you saw me with Matt and as dumb as it may sound I thought it was you, not him" I looked at him and he looked surprised "I left class to use the restroom and on my way back he pulled me in a closet with him and because I didn't think it'd be anyone else I thought it was you and when I realized it wasn't I left him. I didn't know you were there and if I knew it was him I wouldn't have done that at all" I looked at him and we held eye contact "I'm sorry for getting mad at you earlier it was just a lot to have to take in at once and I couldn't take it because I don't know what was wrong and I just let my anger take
over which you know is a bad habit of mine but
it's just that you saying you meant nothing to me really hurt me because you actually mean everything to me and I-" I continue ranting on apologizing until he suddenly cuts me off by kissing me which I didn't expect at all so it took me a second before I actually kissed back.
I gave in and kissed him back. It was just one long passionate kiss before we both pulled away. We leaned our foreheads on each others and I looked into both his eyes.
"I love you Daniel" I say quietly breaking the comfortable silence and closed my eyes
"I love you too" He responded. I sat up and still kept eye contact with him while I talked
"No Daniel that's not what I mean" I say and he
looks confused "I mean" I was really hesitant but didn't know how to tell him cuz at this point my heart was racing so I grab both his hands to help calm me down. His thumbs rub my hands I'm guessing he could tell I was nervous, "I love you. As more than a best friend" I say hoping he'll get the idea. His eyes widened so Ik guessing he was surprised to hear that's what I had to say
"Y/n.." Is all he says because he couldn't really manage to get many words out
"And if you don't feel the same that's alright just having you in my life is enough"
"No I love you as more than a friend too y/n"
He says and smiles widely showing his adorable tooth gap.
"Really!?" I say still surprised even tho Corbyn had already told me I didn't expect him to be serious about it.
"Yeah" He says continuing to smile
"Aww I love you" I say and hug him. He hugs back tighter with his hands on my waist slowly moving me over to be on him straddling his lap.
"Y/n I know this isn't the cutest or most creative way to ask but do you wanna be my official girlfriend? And leave the friends with benefits thing" He says looking slightly up at me smiling wide
"Of course" I respond and kiss him again.
"Oh and I also have some news" He says after pulling away from the kiss
"What" I ask excited
"So the guys and I decided to announce us becoming a band on September 27th!!" He exclaims excitedly.
"Aw Daniel that's so good yay" I say also excited and happy for him. Randomly Daniel entered something out of nowhere
"Come upstairs I wanna show you something" He says and sits me back on the couch to get up and holds out his hand to help me up. Im guessing he was excited because it seemed like it. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up we went upstairs to his room and he opened the window.
"Be careful" He says and steps out on the roof offering to hold his hand so I grab his hand to be less scared. We climbed to the top of the roof where there was a flat part to sit on. We laid side by side looking up at the sky admiring the stars.
"The sky looks amazing" I say admiring the sky
"You look even better" Daniel says and turns his head staring at me. I turn mine to face him
"But you're cuter" I say and smile
"That's debatable" He responds
"It's not. You're cuter and that's a fact" I say and we both laugh.
"How'd I get so lucky to be with you" Daniel says admiring me
"I love you" I say
"I love you"
