Damn that was a long shift. I climb out of my car and walk up the driveway to the front door. I close the front door behind me before re-arming the security system Circuit helped install. I hang up my purse and jacket before slipping off my shoes and releasing my hair from the messy bun.
"I'm home." I call as I begin walking up the stairs, I hear movement in the master bedroom and push the door open
"I've been waiting to get you naked since I finished work." A voice growls from behind me and I gasp playfully
"We'll have to be quick before my husband gets home." I smirk
"That's not funny." Kit growls as I turn to face him
"Oh relax, I'm kidding." I giggle as I wrap my arms around his shoulders
"Come on, we've been married two months and you're already stepping out on me?" He asks one eyebrow raised
"Only if they have this." I say as I trace my finger over the tattoo on the side of his neck 'Nat' to match 'Kit' on the back of my neck. Evie did my property tattoo on my back, but I wanted something just for us, so we went for the matching tattoos on our necks.
"How was your day?" He asks as he helps me out of my scrub top
"Long, everyone was determined to die on me today, but I didn't lose one. It's not the same without my bestie." I pout as he pulls the cord on my pants. I step out of them as he takes my hand and I follow him into the bathroom
"Have I told you you're the best?" I ask and he laughs. I unclasp my bra and slip off my panties as Kit takes off his jeans and we settle into the tub. When we bought this house, just before we got married, we remodelled the master bathroom with the biggest tub I've ever seen and there's even a TV in here so we never have to leave.
Kit feeds me pizza as I relax against his chest, wine glass in hand, as we share our day.
"Evie invited us for dinner tomorrow." Kit says
"Oh they should come here and I'll cook, she should be taking it easy." I reply, Evie told is last week that she's pregnant and Kit is so excited to have another nephew or niece.
"I'll call her later, but you know how stubborn she is." He shrugs and I nod. But she was amazing when I was planning my wedding, her and Imelda helped out so much and I had Isla as a flower girl. I didn't make Kit wear a suit though, the whole club wore jeans and dark red shirts and I had black bridesmaid dresses, with red flowers.
