"I insist" I told her trying to show her my best smile. I could tell that she was hesitant, which I completely understand, but I'm no stranger. She shouldn't be scared of me I'm the one who will always protect her.
"Sure... what time should I come over?"

"Perfect " taking one more glance at the mirror before walking towards the door, opening it.
"Hi!"
"H-hi, you look so... beautiful"
I noticed that, I definitely noticed that blush on her cheeks.
"You look good yourself too! I almost thought you were the meal" she giggled at her pick up line cutely.
Little did she know how much that affected me, my brain completely stopped working. God my baby really knows how to drive me insane.
"C-come in, it's quite cold out especially," I paused to look at her attire, licking my lips slightly, "if you're wearing a dress like that."
"O-oh yeah" she tugged her dress down.

"I hope you like rose pasta by the way" I said knowing damn well that's her favorite dish.
"Are you kidding me?! It's my favorite, how did you know?"
"Just a wild guess, it's my favorite too" I lied. "Make yourself comfortable, it's almost ready"
It was all too perfect. We talked nonstop about everything. She told me how nice it was to see me again after high school and how much I've changed since then.
"At first I didn't recognize you Jimin. I thought you were some random dude." She explained with excitement in her eyes. And to be fair, she has change a lot too, she's so much prettier now, even though I thought she couldn't get any prettier.
We caught up with each other and drank too many glasses of wine. We laughed and I finally felt like the broken pieces were starting to heal again.
And I wondered for the hundredth time this night, if she felt the same way that I did.
