Jasmine's POV
I stormed into my room, startling Zoey. I ignored her questions and fling myself facedown on my bed, sobbing into the pillows. Through the floor I can hear Sips shouting with Rythian, something about 'creaming that bastard' I guess Core got angry. Eventually someone sat on the edge of my bed. I sat up, rubbed my eyes and looked upon the face of Lewis Brindley. He looked me deep in the eyes.
"He does care about you" Lewis said "He wouldn't have reacted in the way he did if he didn't care for you. He thinks you were teasing him and didn't love you" The boy reached up and whiped away a stray tear. "You should make him jealous of something you know?"
"How can I do that?" I asked, was Lewis suggesting what I think he was? "I am not going to date you just to make him jealous" Lewis placed his hand over his heart in mock suprise.
"That's not what I was thinking" He smirked "I say we enter into a mutualy benifitial partnership" I raised an eyebrow at him "Hannah said that she was going to ask Core to go to the Christmas dance in two weeks with her. Let's just say Core isn't the only one that I want to make jealous" What? Silk shirt guy had a crush on Hannah Rutherford. They were perfect for eachother.
"So I go to the dance with you?" I laughed, whiping away my tears "And make them both jealous, hopefully?"
"Hopefully" Lewis smiled at me. I reached out and hugged him.
Core's POV
Fuck my life, just fuck it all the way to hell and back. I was sat staring at a television screen. Yes I could turn it on and watch something or play a game but I could not be arsed. So I just sat there. I heard a knock on the door and turned to see Lewis stood there.
"''Sup Brindley" I smirked.
"I was just wondering?" He replied "Do you play DnD?"
"Yeah" I said "Why?"
"Well I was thinking of putting together a DnD group within school" Lewis smiled "Do you wanna join?"
"Hell yeah" I smirked. I hadn't rolled a D20 in nearly a year. He threw a list across the room to me. I caught it deftly. On it were scribbled several names. 'Sips, Sjin, Simon and Duncan' "Is this it?" I asked.
"For now" Lewis responded "I wanted to start small" I took another look at the list. Duncan was playing a gnome wizard, Simon a dwarf fighter, Sips a Half Orc Bard and Sjin something called 'the rat king'
"Are you going to join us?" I asked.
"Yep" Lewis said "I'm gonna play a Halfling Rogue if that's Ok with you?"
"Sure" I replied "I'd like to play a Dragonborn Paladin please"
"'Kd'en" Lewis said, I passed the list back to him allowing him to scribble my name and class down. "First session is this time next week"
"See ya there" I laughed, before grabbing my headphones. Lewis left, shutting the door behind him. I plugged the headphones in and threw them over my ears. I turned on Endlessly by the Cab. Alex DeLeon's voice filled my voice. I remebered when I'd first heard this song. I'd learned the lyrics off by heart just because I thought I may need them.
After a minute I realised that I was singing along. I opened the door and looked around. I didn't see anyone else so I closed the door and went back to the song.
Jasmine's POV
I heard a voice from upstairs. I slowly walked up to the boys rooms.
"Yeah I'm no angel, I'm just me, but I will love you endlessly" I heard Core sing "Wings aren't what you need, you need me" I felt like I was listening in on something private so I headed downstairs. I couldn't stop hearing that line over and over again. 'I'm no angel, I'm just me"
"Yes and it's just you I want" I thought to myself. "You stupid boy"
