"I'm gonna do it Steve" you said to the super soldier. "Do what exactly?" He asked. "I'm gonna tell Bucky how I feel" you smiled. "Really" Steve said a little too excited. "Yep" you said giggling. You and Bucky are very close and Steve May have let it slipped that Bucky likes you.

*time skip*

You knocked on his apartment door nervously. "(Y/N)?" Bucky asked confused not opening the door fully. "H-hi buck, em I need to tell you something" you said looking down. "Can it wait?" Bucky asked. "Not really" you said looking at him a bit shocked. Suddenly you heard a girl call his name. "I uh have a girl over, but what's up then?" He asked. You felt tears in your eyes. "It doesn't matter anymore" you mumbled. "(Y/N) just tell me" he said. "I uh I should go" you said turning around and running down his hallway.

You pounded Steve's door down until he opened it. When he opened it he looked very annoyed but his face softened when he saw your red puffy eyes. "He was with another girl Steve" you sobbed. "What the heck?" He said confused. "Am I not good enough Steve?" You sobbed. "I don't understand, you're perfect (Y/N), don't ever say that ok" he said giving you a hug.

*time skip*

You avoided Bucky at all costs. You couldn't bare to see him or even speak to him. It hurt too much. Steve told him what happened and he felt terrible. Anytime he'd try talk to you you'd make up a silly excuse or just leave. He really hurt you.

You were walking down the halls in the avengers facility and accidentally bumped into him. You bend down to pic up all your papers. "(Y/N) can we please talk?" He asked. "There's nothing to talk about" you said. He could hear the hurt in your voice.

"I'm in love with you (Y/N)" he said quickly. "What?" You looked at him. "The only reason the girl was there is because I didn't think you liked me back and I was trying to get over you because you didn't show any interest" he said. "Don't turn this around on me,I went to tell you how I felt and you were sleeping around, you never showed interest in me but I still went, and I did show interest because everyone in this place know how I feel about you" you said out of breath. You turned swiftly and walked away.

You woke up to see flowers and a card outside your door. The card read "follow the lines". So you did. Every few steps there was a certain thing you loved.
You finally reached the end to see Bucky there with another bouquet of flowers and a letter in his hands. "What are you doing?" You questioned him. "Just listen" he said. "Ok" you nodded. "I had to write this all down for you ok, (Y/N) I'm so sorry for breaking you down and making you sad,it wasn't my intention, I made a stupid mistake to try push my feelings down for you instead of actually telling you and for that I'm so sorry, I love and care so much about you and never meant to hurt you, you mean so much to me and I'd honestly be so lost and alone without you in my life, if you will take me back into your life I'd be so grateful, if not I understand, I also would like to take you on a proper date if you'd let me and show you how much I truly do like you" he said looking in your (E/C) eyes.

"Buck I- I have no words" you said speechless. You saw the smile on his face drop. You walked over to him and pulled him into a deep and meaningful kiss. When you broke apart he rested his head on yours. "So what do you say about that date doll?" He asked you. "I'd love you go buck" you said kissing him again. "I promise I'll never hurt you again" he said tucking your hair behind your ear. "And I promise to be more open about my feelings" you smiled.

Hi everyone. I hope you enjoyed this. I got the urge to write this at 5:18 am today and I'm not even mad because I finally got a bit of inspiration.
