Nightmares (Akame Ga Kill)

Chapter 4

Its been two days since I joined and things were normal and boring. I was placed under the care of Akame and not because I needed to be trained, but because the group thinks Ill try to run away.

Which is smart because that was totally my intention.

Tatsumi and Akame were making lunch for today while I sat on the counter and munched on some grapes.

"Im suppose to be an assassin but day after day Im cooking!" Tatsumi yelled as he harshly skinned the potato in his hand.

"Quit harrassing that potato, it didnt do anything to you." I mumbled as I popped a grape into my mouth.

"It cant be helped. Im in charge of cooking." Akame replied, completely ignoring my comment.

"That doesnt sound remotely convincing." Tatsumi mumbled and continued to harshly skin the potato until a high-pitched annoying voice was heard.

"That outfit suits a newbie like you." Mine teased while the rest of the group walked into the kitchen.

I popped a grape in my mouth and threw one at Tatsumi.

"What did you say?!" Tatsumi yelled as he gripped his knife harder.

"Hey, Tatsumi." Bulat said huskily as he stood my the door frame. Oh god, he has the hots for Tatsumi.

I grabbed a grape and threw it at Tatsumi again, but he ignored it.

"Bulat? Where are you guys going?"

"On an emergency assignment."

I threw another one on his cheeck.

"An assignment? What about me?"

And another one.

"The newbie can stay at home. You can just cut cucumbers or something!" Mine cackled as he turned her back away from him. I grapped three grapes and threw them at him again, but he didnt notice.

"Bye, now!" The group began to leave and Tatsumi crushed the potato in his hand. I was getting impatient and grabbed a grape harshly and pelted it as hard as I could at him.

It directly hit his forehead and splattered.

"What was that for?!" He yelled as he wiped the goop off his face and rubbed his forehead.

"Idiot. Come on we are goin' fishing. " I explained as I jumped off the counter and landed swiftly as I followed Akame out the back.

After a 15 minute walk, we came upon a cliff with a view of a water fall and a huge lake below.Tatsumi sighed happily as he placed the fish basket onto the ground and sat next to it.

Akame began to take off her top.

"W-What are you doing?!" Tatsumi attempted to cover his eyes and hide the embarassment off his face while I poked the ground with a stick.

"Why are you freaking out?"

"Because he witnessed a bunny giving birth while you were stripping..." I mumbled sarcastically

Tatsumi began to freak out and blush furiously. "O-Oh you have a swimsuit on." He sighed in relief.

"Our objective it to capture the vast fish."

"W-Wait. Arent those the incredibly rare, fast fish-"

Akame didnt bother to answer as she dived into the water and two fish suddenly popped out off the lake into the basket.

"SUPER FISHING?!"

"Stay calm and still. Then at the right time, strike your opponet quickly with strength. Confidence is key." Akame explained as she peeked her head above the water. I layed my back onto the ground and stared at the sky, ignoring her.
