Since it was Sunday and Riley usually spent this day going to church with her family. She was up early making herself some breakfast so she wouldn't be extremely late and hear her mothers rant for never being punctual. Her breakfast for this morning consisted of some cheesy buttery grits, some sausages, and tuna fish with some cantaloupe on the side.It was going on eight and she knew she had to leave the house before ten just to try and make it to the morning worship especially since she had no plans at eating at her parent's house but instead eating at hers by herself like she's been doing for a while now.
Figuring that she spent the whole of last week and weekend with them, it was now time that she took a break to herself and with Kyree turning five in two days she knew for a fact that she was going to be right back over to their house in no time.
Sitting down by her island countertop, Riley pulled out her phone and decided to scroll down Instagram while eating. That was the worst decision she could've made for the day. The argument with Lexi was all over her timeline, every time she scrolled lower and lower someone had reposted it and was adding their snarky remarks next to it.
She had people praising her for sticking up for her baby because kids were off-limits, some was calling Lexi sick and asking why isn't she still in jail meanwhile others were straight trashing her about being loud and ghetto saying how people like her didn't deserve to be in the spotlight because she didn't know how to control herself.
Her jaw ticked at the latter—the ones who said that were obviously foolish and had no idea what it was like to be famous. She wasn't just going to lose who she really was just because when she stepped foot in public people know who she is. She's still human at the end of the day and she had half a mind to comment back to all of the negative commenters but that'll be a waste.
People were entitled to their own opinions of her and only her loved one's opinions matter to her sometimes so fuck a stranger who she'll probably never meet.
After deciding that reading any comments about her blow-up yesterday wasn't such a good idea of hers, she got up and emptied out the rest of the food that was still in her plate before walking over to her room to get ready to leave.
Standing in front of her body length mirror she couldn't help but to just stare at her reflection. There were many things that changed drastically about her appearance, things that she had to learn to adapt to and love about herself.
One of the most drastic changes was towards her body and the tremendous weight it took on over the years. During her pregnancy back in college, Riley gained so much weight to where she eventually became so depressed about it but one day she shook that shit off and embraced it. She was a stick back then but now—she was a whole curvaceous snack that eventually lost the horrible fupa and allowed all of that weight to travel to her lower half.
