Kicking Kairo's standing stool next to the bathroom sink. Riley helped him up and had him his toothbrush that was coated in toothpaste as she picked up hers as well. "Let's brush our teeth so they can stay pretty papa."
The two stood in the bathroom listening to music whilst brushing their teeth and dancing with slight giggles here and there. "Johnny Johnny?"
"Yes papa?"
"Eating sugar?"
"No papa."
"Telling lies?"
"No papa."
"Open your mouth." Riley watched as Kairo placed his index finger on his chin.
Opening up her mouth, she showed him her mouth full of toothpaste. "Ha ha ha!" She laughed.
Kairo's face scrunched right up. "Yuck yuck yuck!" He laughed and watched as she spat out her toothpaste before she grabbed his toothbrush and ran over his teeth a good two times before they rinsed it out with some mouthwash.
"Let's get your hair fixed before your ugly daddy gets here."
"Daddy say that if he's ugly then I'm ugly too because we look just alike."
"Puh-lease. Don't let your daddy tell you a big ole story like that because you look better than anyone that I know."
"Do I look better than you?"
"Uh duh. I gave birth to you so all of my little beauty went right to you. You stole it all from me booger." She kissed his nose and started to clear out his wild mane.
"Booger's are gross."
While combing Kairo's hair. They both made conversation with Kairo complaining here and there about the pull that Riley was having on his hair. "All done. Do we need to cut your hair since you don't like getting it combed? You're lucky I didn't hit you with the comb like your Grammy did me."
Kairo shrugged his shoulders and raced out of the room as Riley sighed and stood up to go pack him a bag since they had a busy day today. Kairo had a doctors appointment that they needed to get to soon, then they were going grocery shopping and later on in the day they had to get to Kairo and Kash's football practice.
Hearing a loud scream and a big thump. Riley dropped the lunchbox full of food on the floor and raced over to Kairos room to find him laying on the floor, crying whilst holding his arm. "What the fuck happened!?"
At her loud question, the only thing Kairo did was cry louder as he continued to hold his arm. Knocking on her front door made her freeze right up because she knew that she was in for some shit with Kash right now. "Ariel?"
"Yes, Ms. Connor?"
"Can you open the door for Kash please?" Riley waited for the locks to churn as she tried shushing Kairo up.
