He's possessive.
He's powerful.
He has it all; money, respect, an empire, everything. He gets what he wants when he wants, he doesn't take 'no' as an answer. After all, he is one of the biggest club owners in Miami and also happens t...

It was not even five minutes later when a silver and blue skyline braked suddenly in the middle of the crowd. Brenda instantly recognized the blonde hair, blue-eyed male.
"Shit, it's Brian." Suki muttered to Brenda who in return spoke,
"You've gotta be kidding me."
It's not that Brenda was scared to go up against him, or afraid to lose to him. She just knew who he was, a cop, a person who can be sneaky.
You could say they were more acquaintances than friends. Brenda didn't really trust Brian because of his sketchy past and career choice, but then she also respected him for going against the law's beliefs. He respected her in return because he knew about her life and all the shit she's been going through but he never once gave her any sympathy, he just treated her like a normal person and Brenda's thankful for that. They have a mutual understanding for each other, that's all there is to it.
Stepping out of the car she watches as he greets Tej with a friendly 'dap' and then turns to face them.
"Sup Suki." He smirked. She nodded back with a calm face.
"Wassup', bullit."
"How you doin' Brenda?" She looked at Brian with a straight face but slowly let a small smile appear.
"Ready to watch your ass lose blondie." The crowd 'oohed' at her remark but her and Brian just laughed it off. It's all fun and games, what matters is who wins the race in their eyes.
Their attention was then directed to Julius who started yelling out in Spanish.
"Nobody said anything about raising the stakes." He said with a wavering voice which made Brenda snicker at his fear.
Brian backs away from Tej and walks up to Julius, cockiness just oozing from his stance.
"If that's the case, why don't you ask these nice people to back off the line so you can go home." This time Brenda actually laughed out loud which Julius glared at her for but she didn't care at all.
She watches as he tells his little crowd to quiet down then looks at Brian and Tej who wait for him to pay up or leave.
"Okay. Thirty-five large." He pulls out his money while mumbling in Spanish which Brenda rolled her eyes at.
She watched them bicker one last time before grabbing her money to give to Tej.
"Thirty-five large, I would've gone up higher." She boasted as Tej chuckled at her.
"Girl you know damn well none of these fools can afford that, let alone race you or Brian." She smirked at him before getting in her car to prepare for the race.
She tried her best to not gag at Tej and Suki's flirting but giggled when she saw his cheeks turn red. She turned serious when she heard the first engine roar to life. Flicking her keys, she turns the car on and looks straight ahead the road as she mentally preps for the race.
