Savannah's P.O.V

"Annah, I think you guys should talk once. It's been over a month and both of you have found ways to avoid each other. He says he has the fight to get to whenever you around and you say you have work."

"I don't think we should Ellie, I'm sorry we are putting you in such an awkward position but honestly I can't stand him."

Ellie sighed looking down at her laptop "I seriously don't know what's wrong with him either whenever he's around you. with me he's fine but then you come around he puts up this wall that I can't seem to break through. I honestly think his manager is pressuring him again."

I look at Ellie confused "His manager? What do you mean?"

"His manager Gio is a total asshole. He always wants him fighting, he makes a lot of money off of Blaze, a year ago he found out that Blaze had a girlfriend secretly and he threatened him if he brought her to Fight Night that they would hurt her."

My heart skipped a beat, is that why... No, maybe it was a different girl.

"Ellie, did you ever meet his girlfriend?"

"No, never. But Blaze did talk about her a lot, he was totally in love with her but he never let me meet her saying it could put her in danger. Gio is cruel, he found him when he was young, hungry, and had nowhere to go. Gio thinks he controls his whole life, those two years he was dating that girl, or should I say an angel was the happiest I'd ever seen him."

I sat there stunned, not knowing what to do. One part of me wanted to run to him and another part of me told me to go to Gio first. "Annah? Are you okay?"

I looked down at the table trying to hide the tears that were forming in my eyes, for the past year I had hated him, he was protecting me."I think you're right Ellie, I'm going to go talk to him and sort everything out with him."

"Okay, he probably is at the training center right beside Fight Night."

I nodded gathering my stuff, "See you later Ellie and keep me updated on the Chance situation okay?"

"You got it."

Rushing out of Starbucks thousands of questions were racing through my mind and all of them could only be answered by Blaze. I needed to find him now. Finally arriving at the training center I barged in there without care finding Blaze beating the boxing bag, "Blaze, I need to talk to you."

His body froze in shock, he moved the bag out of the way to get a better look at me cautiously walking towards me, he pinched me "OW, what was that for?"

"You're here. You need to leave Savy it's not safe."

"Why isn't it safe?" I said trying to look in his eyes but he was doing the total opposite looking at anything else except me. "I asked you something why isn't it safe?"

"Look.."

"What are you hiding from me Cage?" His eyes snapped up to meet mine as soon as I said that name "What are you not telling me?"

"Why do you think I'm hiding something from you?"

I raised an eyebrow at him "I'm not in the mood for games Cage. What are you hiding from me?"

"And I am not in the mood to answer your questions." He said pulling his gloves off

I pulled his arm backing him up against a wall "I was the girl, that you always told stories about to Ellie wasn't I? I was the girl, that made you the happiest you'd ever been in those two years wasn't I? I'm the girl, that you left because you needed to protect me am I not? I'm the girl Gio is threatening you with right?"
