Only a Ride

Chapter Five

Cadences POV

As we were heading towards the bar I decided I would put my arm around Ol' Blue Eyes so that everyone knew I was his date tonight, as we stepped into the room it went quiet. I smirked and kissed him on the corner of his mouth and he smiled a mega watt smile. He knew what I was doing and was happy to oblige, he kissed me in the same spot.

A man walked up to us and he had a President Patch on his on his Kutte, and I was a bit worried when he did.

" Hey brother can you and your girl step into Church for a minute?" He asked and Alex nodded in agreement and I was even more worried than I was before. What was Church and why do I have to go in there? So we headed to a set of double doors and when we walked in there was a wooden table in the middle of the room with a giant Reaper carved in it.

" Have a seat doll." Alex said and I did as he asked. I felt like I was about to be interrogated and for once in my life I was scared. The men all sat down but Alex stood behind me with his hands on my shoulder and was rubbing them.

" My name is Clay and I am the President of the Club. You met Alex my SAA, this is Jax my VP, Opie, Chibs, Piney, Juice, Bobby and Happy. I asked you in here because for one your new in town and two because of the bike you ride." He finished and he took a puff off his cigar in his mouth.

Ok so I am a bit more relaxed than I was initially, they wanted to make sure I wasn't a threat, or some how connected to another Club. I have no problem telling them, I have nothing to hide.

" My name is Cadence Monroe and I am from Solicato, the bike was my fathers who I helped rebuild from the frame up. After he died, I lost it became distant and I guess that was a open invitation for my ex boyfriend to plow a women. I walked into him balls deep into a women that didn't even know I existed, so I left and hopped on my bike and ended up here because I didn't check my gas line after my last stop. I have no connection to any Motorcycle Clubs that I know of and I am no threat to you or your Club but if you want me to leave I will." I finished with that and Alex was still rubbing my shoulders and it was helping my racing heart.

We sat there which seemed like forever but only a few minutes and then Clay spoke up.

" Cadence you don't have to leave, my wife invited you and I am not about to piss her off, and by the looks of it Alex has asked you to hang out with tonight, I see no threat here. You are more than welcomed to stay and get to know everyone." With that he banged a gavel and we left.

Me and Alex walked up to the bar and he told the Prospect for two beers and a couple of shots. Then Piney offered me a shot which by the looks of the guys doesn't happen often and I took it as a peace offering for how they behaved. I kissed him on the cheek telling him it's all good and went on drinking my beer.

I was getting stares from the Croweaters which I am assuming that they were, by the looks they were giving me Alex was there favorite and he was giving me all the attention and I smirked. I put my arms around his waste and kissed him, and he was more than happy to give one back.

I excused myself so that I could go to the bathroom and felt someone following me, I know it was a female and my dad always taught me to know my surroundings, so I went in and did my business. I finished and went out and then pinned the bitch who was stupid enough to follow me and put my hand around her throat and asked her,

" Why the fuck are you following me dumb bitch? Are you so stupid as to follow someone you don't know, someone that could kill you? No you weren't thinking and let me tell you something right now, I know you have been watching me with Alex and you are pissed but guess what he asked me to be with him tonight and I think I want him for more than one night and you go look for someone else to fuck tonight. Next time you follow me it won't be this pleasant. Understood?" She nodded and I let go of her throat and run off calling me a crazy bitch.

I smirked and walked away. I walked up to Ol' Blue Eyes and kissed him.

" Everything ok Doll? You were gone for a while and Kim over there is shaking. You have anything to do with that?" He asked with a smirk

" Yes, she followed me to the bathroom and I had to educate her that tonight and maybe the foreseeable future you were occupied with me and her presence was needed and find someone else." I said

He just kissed me and we went on like that for the rest of the night. We danced, we kissed, we were sitting and talking to Happy and he was telling me he was a cool chick and was sorry for the comment he made earlier and I said it was water under the bridge. It bothered me but I wasn't going to ruin my friendship that we seemed to forge that night.

I was getting to know the guys and Gemma and to be quite honest I was happy my bike fucked up because I wouldn't have met this crazy bunch of people I was slowly liking. They treated me like family and I loved them for it.
