Hey guys, gals, and non-binary pals!! Listen. I'm really sorry about Shouji. I love him. He has gallons and gallons of Respect Woman Juice that he needs to share with Minetta. But, he was the first one that came to mind, so yeah. Sorry again, and goodbye!!

Todoroki POV

Looking back at these memories always made me feel horrible. Sure, me and Shouji weren't super  close, but we didn't hate each other. We still talked at the get-togethers we had. Even in school, I respected him, though I never really showed it.

It isn't only the fact that we were classmates. It's also how he died.

At the hands of my father.

Flashback

There Shouji was, standing in front of the villain. He spread his arms out to protect the citizens behind him, telling them to run. They villain had the quirk to control the dead. He had already summoned an army, but couldn't take care of both that and Shouji.

Eventually, Endeavor shows up, just as Shouji is about to beat him, obviously to take an easy win and take all the credit. But it doesn't end up working like that. Shouji is about to finish him off when-

Endeavor is looking at the citizens and blasting fire at the same time, just to make sure they knew who he was. Shouji had his back to the fire, and didn't know. Endeavor made a mistake by not looking where his fire was going, and blasted Shouji with full power, killing him instantly. On top of that, the villain got away.

Thankfully, with the charges of killing some one, Endeavor got a life sentence in a place where quirks couldn't work. Let's just say he never got any visitors.

Of course, there was the funeral for the fallen hero. All of his teachers and fellow classmates showed up, but along with his fans, the hero had no one else. All his family was dead, or wasn't able to come to Japan, and he never got the chance to be in a relationship. This just made it even more depressing.

Everyone was thankful it was raining on the day of his funeral. The entire world seemed to be sad, even if they never heard of him.

Flashback End

Todoroki POV

I wait until the other three get there, then the police. They take the villains away, to the same place my dad lives. But before anyone can stop him, Dabi let's put a road and attempts to escape. The police catch him, but not before he can whisper in my ear; "you will pay for this." He is then dragged away by the police.

I wonder what he meant. Its not like he can get out. Right?

I shake my head, trying to fix all of those thoughts from my mind. I turn around, because someone's tapping my shoulder. Midoriya is standing behind me.

He looks around. "Did you already do a sweep of the area to make sure there were no other hostages?" I nod. He seems to remember the basics, or at least has enough common sense to know what to do.

I stop Kirishima and Bakugou at the door on the way out.

"I was wondering...While we're here, do you..Want to see Shouji?" Kirishima gets tears in his eyes and Bakugou looks down. "Yeah.. I think we should." He answers in an uncharacteristically soft voice. I look over to where Midoriya stands, and see him fidgering with his costume.

"We should bring him with us. It might trigger a memory." Kirishima adds. I nod, and say "We should call all our classmates, except Minetta. We haven't seen them in a while, and seeing them might also trigger memories. We should also get flowers..And we could stay at a hotel until they come." They agree, and we tell Midoriya the plan.
