Fight For Love

Chapter Three

       Apparently, his motherly side wasn't completely lost because he immediately sat up when he heard me crying. "A-are you okay?!" Was the first thing to escape his mouth. 

       I smile at him, knowing that he wasn't talking to me in particular but that was just an instinct. "Yeah. I'm good. Nice to see that you're up. How are you feeling? Hungry? Thirsty? Anything, just tell me." I know I'm smothering him, but I feel as if I'm to blame for what happened. Even if he doesn't remember, I still want to make it up to him.

         I smile at him, but clearly that was a mistake because he just awkwardly smiles back and looks uncomfortable. " Sorry. " I say, then turn away. "N-no! It's fine! I just don't really remember you..." "Right. Sorry." "It's fine. But I do have one question. Before I was like.. This, how did I know you?" This brought tears to my eyes again, but he quickly said, "Oh no! I'm so sorry! You don't have to answer! I w-was just curious! I'm sorry! " "Its fine. And I'd be happy to explain. After all, I do feel responsible for all this."

           "I'M GAY?!" we're the first words to come out of his mouth after I finished explaining. We sat in silence for about .5 seconds, then both of us burst in to laughter. I wished the moment would last forever, but sadly, it was cut short by Bakugou and Kirishima bursting in and flirting with each other. 

      "Ahem? Soba?" They seemed to remember that Midoriya and I were here, and then noticed Midoriya is awake. Kirishima shoved the good into my hands and ran over to him.

       " Yo!! Midoriya!! Glad to see you awake! How you feelin', bro?" Midoriya looked slightly overwhelmed as Kirishima tried to get him to do a handshake. I glanced over at Bakugou, and I thought I saw tears glistening in his eyes. When he saw me looking at him, he sneered, wiped his eyes,  and angrily ate his men to box.

       "Hey, Todo-bro! Pass  the miso soup, will ya?" After giving him his food and settling down in .gov chair next to Midoriya, I noticed Midoriya eyeing my food. since I wasn't very hungry in the first place, I said, " Open up." Then proceeded to feed him my soba.

        Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Kirishima mouth to Bakugou, " Can we do that?" To which Bakugou responded with, "No." This caused Kirishima to turn away with a sad look in his eyes. Bakugou seemed to notice and after rolling his eyes, he pulled Kirishima in for a kiss. "Better now?"  He mumbled. "Yes, Baku-babe."

         No matter how touching, these little acts of kindness made my heart ache for Midoriya getting better. I just have to not give up hope.

         Dangit. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts, I wasn't paying attention to where the spoon was going and completely spilled cold soba all over Midoriya.

      "S-sorry! I'll clean it up right away!" " No, no it's fine!! You're fine!" I still rushed around, trying to get enough paper towels. I start cleaning up, but I look up for a second and see Midoriya studying me. Our eyes meet for 1..2...3...4.... "Get a room, you two!!! Ugh!" Bakugou interupts. I sigh. Of course. "Glad to see the old Bakugou's back." Then he flips me off.

                  *A Few Weeks Later* (Deku is out of the hospital now!!!)

      "MIDORIYA!! WHERE'S MY BOYFRIEND?!" I ran through the hospital until I reached his room, and right when I got to the door, I started falling into a fiery abyss. I wake up to see my sister standing over me, a worried look in her eyes. " Hey! What are you doing in my room?! I told you to stay out! " "Shouto... I was worried. You were screaming and calling out Izuku's name. I also came to wake you up so you could go to the hospital to see him. Goodbye the day he gets out, after all."
