Todoroki POV
As I'm sitting in the police station waiting room, waiting for Izu to pick me up, (they had taken away my car) I sat and thought about what I did.
Possibly the most un-hero-like thing in the universe. I'm just as bad as my shitty old man.
"Todoroki Shoto. Get over here this instant." I grimace as I hear the deadly calm in my boyfriend's voice. I look up, expecting him to be scared, frightened or worried. Instead, I see him glowering over me with anger in his eyes I've never seen before.
I lower my head again as I stand up, not wanting to meet his eyes. We walk out of the police station in silence, though I know that once we get in the car, I won't hear the end of it.
They're inside the car now. I didn't know what to put. Sue me. (-_-)
"Shoto... what were you thinking? That was very irresponsible of you. It's also not how a hero should act, especially since your one of the top heroes." "What did they tell you?" He sighs. "They told me you stormed in, yelling 'Where is Himiko Toga' then proceeded to kick Dabi out of his office, where he and Toga were working, and lock the door behind you. They said you were yelling at her about me. Is that right?"
I look at the floor of the car. "Yes."
We stop at a red light, and he turns toward me. "Why? I don't need you to fight my battles." "I was just trying to protect you.." "Protect me from what? The past? Listen. You weren't the first person I told. I told the cops, obviously. They took care of everything. This was her community service, before going to jail for two years." We arrive, and he stops the car. Before walking into the house, he says, "Just...I need you to understand... you don't need to protect me from anything. I'm a grown man. I don't want you to think I'm helpless." He walks inside, leaving me alone outside, with nothing but my thoughts.
Obviously, I run inside.
When I get inside, I'm greeted by Fuyumi, my mom, Kirishima, and Bakugo. They are all sitting on the couch quietly, but each of them looked like they wanted to scream or shout.
"Izu... is there a reason that my sister and mother are here...?" I turn to look at him, and his face is blank as stone. "Actually, Shoto, yes. There is a reason why your family is here. Lately, you have been acting unacceptable for a pro hero. We've decided that when me, Bakugo and Kirishima go back to work, you will be suspended from hero work and be volunteering for community service. We've already talked it over with the mayor, and he agrees this would be good for you."
I'm about to protest when my mother stands up.
"Shoto. My youngest son. Listen to your boyfriend. This could help you. And it's not like you can so 'No'. The mayor has already assigned you your dates." I look at her, feeling helpless.
That's when I realize. They don't want to punish me. They're trying to help me. I have been very selfish and greedy lately. Maybe this would be good for me.
"Midoriya...-" "No, Todoroki, I don't want to hear it. We are doing this no matter what." "No, Midoriya I-" "Todoroki! This is not up for discussion! I'm putting my foot dow-" "Midoriya! I'm trying to tell you I'll do it! If you'd let me talk, you'd know that!"
He looks dumbstruck like I just told him that I'd killed his dog or something.
"Really? I didn't think it'd be that easy..." "Well, it is. I realize that my behavior hasn't been the best lately, and I completely agree that I need voluntary work. My only question is, when is it? Will I get to spend any time with you?" "Well you start next week, and you have one week of it. You will only be working from nine to two, so maybe, depending on my work. Most of the time we'll be patrolling, but we don't know how long battles will last so..."
"Izu, you're muttering again." "Right! Well, now you know. Sorry, Pumpkin, but this is something we have to do. I wish it didn't have to be this way..." "Izu, you're making it sound like I'm going away to prison for life. I'm only going to community service for a week. Then I'll be back fighting crime with you, Kirishima, and Bakugo."
He smiles, lighting up the room. God, I love him. I lean down to give him a kiss and-
"Ahem." I turn to see my sister, mom, Kirishima, and Bakugo staring at us, making me very uncomfortable. I feel my cheeks go slightly red. Despite being an adult, I still get very embarrassed, annoyingly. I see Midoriya turn as red as a tomato, then shouts, "WHO WANTS DINNER?!"
After our little... event, we gather around the table for some of Midoriya's homemade spaghetti, a recipe from his mother.
Once dinner was over, we said our goodbyes to Fuyumi and my mother and went to bed. The next day, Midoriya and I had to return to the bakery, and Kirishima and Bakugo had their woodshop.

Kirishima POV
When me and Baku went to bed, I could already hear the rain start to pour on our windows. With the drops pitter-pattering on the windows and the soft snore-and-snarl of Baku, I slowly drifted off to sleep.

When we woke up the next day, Bakugo wasn't beside me like he normally was. I shrug, thinking it's nothing. However, when I go out to the living room, I still don't see Bakugo. I go to the kitchen, thinking he must be there, but he still isn't. I check the entire house, but he still isn't there. I call his cell, using the house phone and my own cellphone, but he still doesn't pick up.
Relax. I tell myself. He probably just had to go run some errands. At nine in the morning? Shut up.
"Hey, Midoriya! Todoroki! Where are you guys?" "We're in our room, Kirishima! Do you need anything?" I hear Midoriya's voice ring through the walls, and a sense of relief washes through me. "Yeah, I was just wondering if Bakugo told you guys anything about leaving?" "Umm no. Sorry, Kiri!" My spirits sink. What if he's in danger? "Oh. It's fine! But thank you! Sorry for disturbing you!" "No problem! And it's fine! You didn't disturb us!"
"Now," I say to myself, "It's time to find Bakugo."

Hello, guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Sorry for being away for so long, I just haven't really had the time to write. Anyways, I hope everyone is doing great at school, and if you don't go to school, then... hope you're doing well in life! And now, for a health check!
When was the last time you drank water? You look pretty thirsty. And while you're at it, get something to eat. If you're wearing a binder, remember not to bind for more than eight hours or to sleep or exercise while wearing it. And hey. If you need glasses for looking at screens, (Me too!) don't forget to put them on if you don't have them on already! And why don't you go outside? Take a break from the screens. Did you know that sunlight is actually very important? If you didn't, that probably means you're not going out enough. So go! Take a break! Enjoy life! And remember, you are valid! I love you!
