I sat there in the back of the car. The audition was over and I probably had screwed it up. My mom of course was always sweet and encouraging about auditions. Auditions were hard, you either failed it or nailed it. A lot of people nailed auditions but they never got the parts.
That's what I was afraid of. I had no idea how I did but all I knew was that I'd be staying in Vancouver for a while. I didn't want to say anything to my mom at the moment. But she always knew which questions to ask and how to get to me. Moms were smart, I hated to admit that.
"How was the audition? Did you do well?" She asked the usual question. The one I got after an audition, every audition.
"It was fine..I think." I replied, the usual answer I threw back at her.
She smiled warmly so I could see through the rear view mirror. The motherly, encouraging smile gave their kids every once in a while.
| this is a really short chapter because I don't have a lot of time and I'm writing it on my phone so please forgive me. Longer chapters will be coming soon :)
