Dylan. 10:20 am
"Hi.." I heard a voice on the other side of the line. I smiled, recognizing the sweet accent. Audris. My heart beat a little faster as she said hi. It didn't sound very excited though but it was still her.
Fuck this was gonna sound stalkish/creepy in every way. Maybe I shouldn't have called. I thought, now starting to panic a little. I didn't say anything for a while.
"Um...Dylan are you still there?" I heard her voice again. Taking in a silent breath and exhaling slowly but quietly so she wouldn't be able to hear.
"Hi-hi.." I stutterer, not the best move to make but I didn't know what else to say.
"Um, you've already said that." She replied with a serious tone/confused. Clearly she didn't want to talk to me at the moment. I felt a bit hurt but thought of something that could end this seriously embarrassing conversation.
"Actually..sorry I meant to call up another friend with the name Audris. Sorry, wrong number. Bye!" I said all in a rush. Putting my phone down immediately and letting out a groan.
Ugh, I was literally so stupid to say all of that. Shitting shit! I am an idiot. I thought to myself, putting my face in my hands. I couldn't have gotten anymore stupid by saying I had another friend named Audris. No one else in the entire world at the moment had that name. Well yea, maybe in the olden days and in fairytale books but this is modern day!
I let out another groan except it sounded muffled by the cover of my hands. Rubbing my eyes, I looked up feeling like my eyes had gone red. I leaned against the wall, closing my eyes for a slight second thinking of her face. It was still there...in a way. Not so much, I couldn't see her properly now. It was like she was going into a blur like water.
I was drowning, drowning for her.
/ Sorry, it was really short and shitty but I swear it's going to get better! The next few chapters are going to be wobbly and stuff but it'll get better, hang in there. I've been working on this for more than a month and I hadn't gotten it finished until now. Sorry. - Ray
