Audris.                                                                                                                                                          The Next Day (morning)

I sat in my rolling chair, dying of laughter as my best friend Adelaide danced around the room in a pretty pink puffy tutu. She twirled around horribly and made sound effects. At the same time she took moments to pose off as a high fashioned model but her poses were just as terrible as her dancing.

"La de la la la doo doo. And pose." She sang out in her best singing voice then stopped and did another pose. This time the pose was faced towards me. Her blonde hair fell out of her messy bun as she raised her left eyebrow and grinned maniacally at me.

I shook my head with a grin.

That's my best friend alright. Crazy.

"Audris, you should really do need to join me on the dance floor." She said, in the worst British accent she could do.

"Gods but you're terrible at it." I replied with a sneaky smirk. Of course she turned her head towards me and gave me a death glare. I then rolled my eyes.

"You'll see. One day I'll be a famous ballerina and everyone will love me!" Adelaide announced like it really would happen. She then got up on a chair and put her arms out.

"Love me!" She shouted in a pretty voice. I watched her and giggled.

How ridiculous did she look? Of course she was, she was very awkward.

"Oh sure they will love. One day you'll be bigger than Taylor Swift's shake it off video." I spoke, crossing my arms watching her as she jumped off the chair. Trying to look like an elegant ballerina.

"Yep! And I'll be one of those twerking ballerina's as well." She turned around and put her butt out and started twerking. She was horrible but I couldn't help but laugh.

"Girls, breakfast!" A shout came from downstairs, sending me to stand up quickly. It was unexpected since the house sounded so quiet besides Adelaide and I's music and loud voices.

"Ooo goody!" Adelaide clapped her hands together, using her normal voice. She jumped up and down and went for the door handle. She opened it and went out.

"Aren't you coming?" She asked, stopping before she went down the stairs. She gave me a puzzled look. I nodded with a smile.

"Yea, I'm just getting something. Alright love?" I replied and she smiled with a nod in return. I looked around my room. It was a bit messy since Adelaide slept over for the night. I spun around trying to find my phone and then I spotted it on my bedside table. I grinned and went for it.

I made my way downstairs, with my phone in hand. Heading towards the kitchen I saw a box near the staircase. It had my name written on it. Audris. I was about to kneel down and open it when I heard my mother's voice.

"Hey, aren't you going to go eat breakfast with Adelaide?" She asked. Standing there with her hands on her hips. I looked at her and nodded.

"Yes of course but what's in that box?" I asked, looking down at it then looking at my mum.

"Nothing. I'll tell you later." She said in a soft voice, avoiding my eyes. She walked passed me and into the bathroom. I rolled a shoulder into a shrug.

Well, she obviously didn't want me to know what it was. It was probably nothing like she said. So I shouldn't bother. I thought.

I made my way into the kitchen, seeing Adelaide eating a stack of pancakes. She looked hungry because she was taking big slices of her pancake and stuffing it into her mouth. I laughed as I sat down beside her.

"Hungry?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. She looked at me with puffed cheek filled with pancake. She nodded. I grinned and reached for the butter when the phone rang. Interrupting me. I stood up and walked over to the phone, picking it up. I pressed the key that could allow me to talk. Putting it up to my ear I answered.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey, um this is Dylan." The person on the other end answered in a cheerful but shy voice.
